You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Auggie came to us from a shelter as a nearly 6 month old who was emaciated, barely able to stand and walk weighing 27 pounds.  He had several sets of labs done and nothing indicated a medical reason for his poor condition so it was pure starvation.  He's made a complete recovery and weighs a healthy 64 pounds now!   He is a young teenager and now that he's healthy, he's active and still doesn't realize his size.  So we are saying no kids or they must be savvy teenagers.   He walks on leash but has recently started to pull some.  He's great with crate training.  He will bark when it's time to eat or he needs to potty.  We've been trying to wean him off the very high end foods he's been on to get healthy but it's been a very slow transition.  Ideally, his new family can keep him on Orijin, Acana or alike food for optimum health.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 9, 2026, 8:06 pm

Meet Scout — a sweet, playful 6-year-old Doberman mix looking for his forever home. He’s 70 lbs, neutered, healthy, house-trained, and knows basic commands. Scout is great with kids, good with cats, and loves other dogs — he previously lived with our husky (who just found her new forever home) and really thrives with a canine buddy to play with. He has a gentle, goofy personality, enjoys walks and outdoor time, and has a natural protective instinct while staying a total softie with his family. We love him deeply, but due to upcoming life changes, we can’t give him the space and activity he deserves. Scout would do best in a home with room to run and (ideally) another friendly dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion and your pup could use a best friend, Scout may be the perfect match. Reach out if you’d like to meet him!
