Story
Meet sweet old man Tempo! He is a 10 year old gentle Dobie. He is very affectionate, mellow, easy to walk. He likes to play with toys and hang with his humans, and is fascinated by other dogs. He likely has some sort of neuro condition, as he often turns in circles, but he doesn't let it dampen his spirits... he just wants to live out his golden years with a family who is willing to see past his circling and enjoy him as the positive being that he is. If you are ready to open your heart and your home to this social soul, please ask to meet Tempo Tempo has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out his playgroup video below ##2580665##

Story
Beautiful NORA is a 5-year-old Doberman mix who has already been failed once... and now she's about to lose her life. She originally entered the shelter as a stray, redeemed by her owner, just to be surrendered for the holidays. Now Nora is sitting in a kennel, confused, terrified, tail tucked, shaking as the barking around her never stops. She is not a bad dog - her former owner said she is good with people she knows, knows basic commands, and is loving and a loyal dog. ##2629071##

Story
Chipa is a 3 yo M blk/brn doberman foster notes   Chipa would do best with someone experienced in working dogs.  He's high energy  and needs mental & physical stimulation.  Absolutely no cats, kids or small dogs at least at this stage.  He is pretty good with size appropriate female dogs but has a rough play style and does resource guard food and some toys.  He's crate trained, doing better on leash and still learning to pay attention.  He's food motivated, sweet and silly.  Slightly suspicious of strangers and could be destructive left to his own devises.  Seems to like the water so a good candidate for swimming.  I recommend adopters get him into something like scent work, obedience and trick training. or spend time hiking or biking with him ##2574877##

Story
Hi, my name is Heath and I`m available for adoption! I`m a 1yr 7mo old male black/tan Beauceron dog (ID #A745048). I was brought in by a good Samaritan on March 31, 2026. At 98lbs I am considered a large breed dog.I am a very smart boy and am practicing how to `sit` and `shake`. I also have a very affectionate side and would be thrilled to play with you at home! I am full of energy and love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. I would do best in a home with older children. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!I am neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! I was nominated for Pet of the Week on April 14, 2026. This means that my adoption fee has been reduced! This adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable). This helps my safe return home should I become lost, and comes with additional benefits such as Vacation Pet Alert, Free Ride Home and more (visit our pet licensing page for more info)! My new family can also benefit from enrolling me in Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, RASKC and Fetch are making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes! If you are looking for an affectionate and energetic guy to add to your family, and are ready to fall in love with my pawesome self, please come down to RASKC to visit me! You can find out more about me and my other friends on our website at www.kingcounty.gov/adoptapet. Also look for me on Instagram with #heathkingcountypetsa745048. You can find out more information on our adoption process on our website as well. If you have more questions, you can contact RASKC via phone at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov. If you want to meet me or other pets in person, RASKC is open from noon to 5pm Monday through Friday, and noon to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Our address is 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.

Story
Harley is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Harley is a male and is 6-7 months old (February 28) -He and his 2 brothers look completely different, Harley looks like a Doberman (sleek bodied, long thin face), one looks like a Shepherd mix, and another looks like a Shepherd/Rottie mix. So, I think they are a mixed bag breed-wise. Can only go off of looks for now. -Weighs around 25-30 pounds on February 28th -Came into a local shelter due to an abuse/neglect case -Does well with other dogs -Probably best with older children at time of posting, he and siblings get excited and nip at end of your shirt/coat sleeves for attention/when excited -May be housebroken, does not go to the bathroom in his crate/kennel and immediately uses the bathroom when he is put outside -Very friendly, loves attention and pets -Loves to run and be outside -Video of Harley from January 18: https://youtube.com/shorts/7XvllxcKUbY Harley is neutered, vaccinated (DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies), dewormed, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $700, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. Please fill out this application FIRST if you'd like to adopt Harley: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 If you aren't contacted within 48 hours after filling out online form, please contact us again at 580-257-0622 or luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com. Cities that may be used for transport (Transporters are on their own schedule with dates, locations, and times and you MUST be there whenever the scheduled time is) New York-Buffalo (may be limited availability, would have to go to Pittsburgh if so), Rochester, Rye, Albany, Mohawk/Herkimer Illinois-Chicago, Springfield Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Portage New Jersey-Trenton. Ridgefield, Sewaren Washington-Tumwater (Olympia), Bothell (Seattle Metro), Bellingham, Spokane Oregon-Portland, The Dalles Montana-Missoula, Big Timber Indiana-Michigan City, Spiceland (East of Indianapolis) Idaho-Boise, Mountain Home Iowa-West Des Moines Colorado-Denver Michigan-Battle Creek Ohio-Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati Connecticut-Enfield, Darien, Union Pennsylvania-Allentown, Pittsburgh Virginia-Haymarket (DC Metro) Minnesota-Burnsville (Minneapolis) Wyoming-Laramie Maryland-Baltimore Utah-Riverdale (Ogden/SLC)
