Story
Hey! I’m Sugarplum, an eight month old female Doberman puppy. I'll be honest, I've been in rescue for most of my life! My memory isn’t too great, but I’ll tell y'all what these rescue folks told me! At some point when I was with my litter, my mom either bit me or stepped on me and my head got stuck kinda crooked. I could still get around, but I was real wobbly and it was hard to compete with my siblings for food. They started ganging up on me because I walked funny, so I was taken to a shelter. I was only there for a couple hours before some really nice people came and scooped me right up! I got to spend the holidays in a wonderful foster home, but my problems were just getting started! I wasn’t able to keep food down after a couple weeks, so I went to the vet. Turns out I have this thing called mega esophagus that keeps me from swallowing well. I've grown up real strong and healthy though, so I'm able to eat normally so far. As I grew up, my head straightened out a lot too! Now I can mostly walk in a straight line. I’ve got a few challenges, but I am a spunky little thing with a strong will to live. I like other dogs, people, and have been around cats as well! I can't promise I won't need some extra help in the future, but for now I'm ready for my next adventure! Is that with you? Story
Chuck is a special boy, like many of the pups we end up with, he has bounced around a bit - we only know bits and pieces of his past. He can be timid around cars and traffic. He seems very playful and happy around adults, but not sure about kids. We think he isn't good with cats (not facts only hearsay) and have heard he loves to play with other dogs. Chuck is an amazing travel pup! He crates well but needs to learn most of the other things - he's had little other training in his short time and bouncing around. We would recommend a home with adults only as the 'full time' residents. Please let us know if you are interested in fostering, foster to adopt or adopting this big hunk! ##2641824##

🐾 Meet Queenie 🐾 Part couch potato? Part sunshine enthusiast? Part professional snuggle bug? We may never know. What we do know is that Queenie is a beautiful 9-year-old blue Pit Bull with a heart as big as her love for naps. ❤️ With her sweet eyes and easygoing personality, Queenie is the definition of a low-maintenance companion. She’s happiest lounging in a sunny spot, relaxing on the couch, or cuddling up with her favorite furry friend. Queenie is as laid-back as they come and takes life one cozy moment at a time. She absolutely adores other dogs and would love a home with a canine companion—especially one who doesn’t mind sharing their bed and accepting a few extra snuggles. ❤️ ✨ 9 years old ✨ 50 pounds ✨ Great with kids of all ages ✨ Loves dogs big and small ✨ No cats, please ✨ Completely house-trained ✨ Dog door trained ✨ Crate-trained ✨ Leash-trained ✨ Non-destructive in the home Queenie enjoys the simple things in life. A soft couch, a sunny patch of grass, a dog friend to cuddle with, and a family to love are all she really needs. She doesn’t ask for much and is content spending her days relaxing by your side. While she’s perfectly crate-trained, Queenie is such a well-mannered lady that she doesn’t require one. She knows how to settle in and make herself comfortable without causing any trouble. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who has outgrown the puppy chaos and is ready to spend her golden years loving her family, Queenie may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. The fastest way to Queenie’s heart? A comfy couch, a canine best friend, and a spot in the sun. 🐾☀️💕 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network.
