Story
Ollie is a 5 year old mixed breed (we think he might be a kelpie) rescue from Skull Valley, AZ. He is a very very sweet boy when he’s alone, but after having our son and the addition of our second dog, he has become extremely anxious and has growled at our son a few times (from a distance) which makes us a bit nervous. We now keep the dogs separate from our son during the day. He would probably be best suited in a home without other dogs or kids. He is a very sweet boy, and he is extremely smart. While it would be heartbreaking to rehome him, our schedules are extremely busy and he deserves a home in which he gets the attention he deserves.

Story
Meet Dash! 🐕Dash is an approximately 1.5-year-old large mixed breed dog with a big personality and an even bigger love for adventure. He’s high energy and independent, always ready to explore what’s around him. Dash would make an excellent hiking buddy or thrive in a home with a large property where he can safely run, roam, and satisfy his curious nature.Because we’re unsure how Dash does with other dogs, a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings is required to ensure a good match. With the right environment and structure, Dash has the potential to be a wonderful companion for an active household.Dash is neutered, microchipped and up to date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations. If you’re looking for an energetic, adventurous dog who’s ready to experience the world by your side, Dash may be the one for you!📞 Interested in meeting Dash? Please call the Chino Valley Animal Shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7 to schedule an appointment.

Story
Charlie is a 4-year-old rescue mixed breed. He was rescued outside of Tolleson, AZ. He has all of his shots, and is regularly groomed (when he allows us lol). He is an extremely anxious dog, and after we had our son he became more anxious. He is a very very sweet boy, but he is a little wild and doesn’t know his own strength or how to gently give love. He needs a lot of attention that we just don’t have time to give with our busy schedules, and we truly want the best for him. While he is extremely sweet with our son, he’s just a little too wild and unpredictable and would probably be most comfortable in a home without kids.

Story
🐾 Meet Maggie! 🐾Approx. 8–10 years old | Pit Bull Mix | Spayed | Microchipped | UTD on VaccinesIf you’re looking for a dog who radiates joy, warmth, and pure love, Maggie is your girl. This black-and-white sweetheart is truly one of the most lovable dogs you’ll ever meet. She greets every human like a long-lost friend and has never met a person she didn’t adore.Maggie is approximately 8–10 years old and carries herself with the happy, gentle spirit of a dog who appreciates every moment. She does have a lump scheduled for removal and biopsy on 12/02/25, and while there is a chance it may be cancerous, we won’t know more until after the procedure. What we do know is that Maggie isn’t letting anything dampen her enthusiasm—her tail is always wagging. She may not be fully house trained, so her future family should be ready to help her learn or be understanding of an older girl who might have accidents. We believe she would do well with other dogs, but a meet and greet is required to ensure a great match. Maggie does not do well with cats.Maggie is ready to bring joy, comfort, and endless affection to her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who brightens every room she enters, Maggie can’t wait to meet you. 💕🐾
