Meet Guinness, an approximately 1-year-old male Labrador Retriever mix. Guinness came to the shelter as a stray with his brother, Magnum, and after not being claimed he is now up for adoption. Guinness gets along well with other dogs. He is timid at first, but playful and friendly once he has had the chance to warm up to people. Guinness is still young and has not had a lot of training so will need someone who is willing to help him learn. Guinness has been neutered, microchipped and had all of his vaccinations. Story
Meet Trout, an approximately 4-year-old male Catahoula mix. Trout came to the shelter as a stray and after not being claimed, he is now up for adoption. Trout seems like he has not had the proper care in a while. We are working on getting him brushed out, but from the looks of his coat he will really benefit from good food and regular brushing. From what we have observed, Trout is a total lovebug with people! He is selective about his dog friends, so a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home will be necessary prior to adoption. Trout is UTD on his DAPP and Bordetella and is neutered, microchipped and had his rabies vaccination. If you are interested in meeting Trout, please call the shelter to set up an appointment today at 928-636-4223, ext. 7!

Story
Hi, my name is Annie, and I am an approximately 7-8-year-old Cattle Dog mix. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccinations. I seem to love playing with other dogs my size, but shelter staff does not believe I would be a good fit around smaller animals. I love people and car rides. I am house trained, too. Due to favoring my rear left leg, shelter staff took me to see the vet and it was determined that I have a cruciate ligament tear. I am currently on medicine for pain but will eventually require surgery. If you would like to meet me, please call the shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7 to schedule an appointment.

Story
Meet Copper, an approximately 1-year-old male Hound mix. Copper was brought to the shelter as a stray and, after completing his stray hold with nobody claiming him, Copper is now up for adoption. Copper is a bit skittish when he first meets you, and takes time to feel comfortable with new people. While we don’t believe he was mistreated, he definitely lacks training and socialization. Copper has been friendly with most of the dogs we’ve introduced him to, but he is not comfortable on a leash yet. Copper has been neutered, microchipped and received his rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Copper, please call the shelter to set up an appointment today at 928-636-4223, ext. 7!
