If you're looking for a dog who will make you smile every single day, Lily is your girl. She's an affectionate, outgoing sweetheart who loves people of all ages and happily soaks up attention. Whether she's giving kisses, hanging out with the kids, or simply being by your side, Lily is happiest when she's with her family.
Lily has a playful, athletic spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. She'll even "chat" with you—especially in the mornings! She isn't a barky dog, but she does enjoy having little conversations that are sure to make you laugh.
She's also a smart cookie! Lily already knows sit, down, and shake, and she has a good sit-stay when asked. She's house-trained, enjoys dressing up in dog clothes, and is always ready for her next adventure.
Lily loves exploring the outdoors, so it's important to keep doors and gates securely closed. Before opening an exterior door, Lily should be on leash and asked to sit-stay until released to prevent her from deciding to head out on an adventure of her own.
Lily also loves other dogs and thrives with canine friends who enjoy active play. If you already have a playful dog and a securely fenced yard where they can romp together, Lily would be in heaven.
Because Lily is athletic and doesn't always realize how strong she is, she may accidentally knock over toddlers or infants during her enthusiastic greetings and play. Playing with older children who can match her energy would likely be a better fit.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
