Story
Michi is a deep-red beauty with an elegant look that almost resembles a Basenji. Her most charming feature? That perfect curl of her tail—it’s impossible not to smile when you see it. At around 1.5 years old and weighing a little over 35 pounds, Michi is a sweet girl with a soft heart. She is very shy at first and does not warm up quickly to new people. Michi needs a patient, understanding person who will give her the time and space to build trust. Once she feels safe and forms a bond, however, she connects deeply and shows incredible loyalty and affection. Michi is gentle and full of quiet charm—but she also has a high-energy side. She’s very smart and athletic, and would flourish in a home that provides both physical exercise and mental challenges, like training, enrichment games, or structured activities. She would also thrive in a home with a confident, well-balanced dog who can help show her the ropes, build her confidence, and be a playful companion to help burn off that energy. Having a canine buddy will truly help her come out of her shell and flourish. She’s the kind of dog who may start out reserved, then surprise you with her playful spirit and devoted nature once she trusts you. With the right environment, a dog friend, and thoughtful guidance, she’ll become an incredibly special companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful pup with a graceful spirit, a playful and athletic side, and that signature curly tail—and you have the patience to let her bloom—Michi might just be your perfect match. Story
Meet the Zuni puppies! These adorable pups came to us from a reservation in New Mexico, where their amazing mama, Zuni, showed them what it means to be loving, confident, and affectionate. Zuni is a wonderful, sweet girl, and it's clear her puppies are following in her paw prints. Each puppy has their own unique personality, but they all share the same wonderful foundation—they're confident, outgoing, playful, and absolutely adore cuddles and belly rubs. Coral is the laid-back member of the bunch. She's happy to explore, then settle into your lap for some quiet bonding time. Onyx is the resident cuddle bug. She's usually the first to climb into your lap, convinced that snuggles are the best part of the day. Pearl never misses an opportunity for affection. She'll happily flop over and offer her belly, ready for as many rubs as you're willing to give. Turquoise is easy to spot with the cutest curly tail and a beautifully speckled coat. Her playful spirit and charming looks make her impossible to resist. These bright, loving puppies are ready to find families who will help them grow into the amazing dogs they're meant to be. With positive training, a secure home, and plenty of love, they'll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, laughter, and companionship. If you're looking for a best friend to share life's adventures—and plenty of couch cuddles—one of the Zuni puppies might be your perfect match. Story
Bea is a 2 1/2 year old part cattle dog, part super mutt, part Terrier and part Shepherd mix. She weighs approximately 65 pounds. Bea takes her sweet time to make friends with humans, once she initiates that she likes you, she is your forever friend. She becomes outgoing and affectionate once she comes out of her shell. She loves belly rubs and petting. She gives kisses when she likes you and uses her paw to let you know when she wants to be petted. She loves going for walks, and is great on the leash. She learned how to ride in the car without whining. Bea has come a long way, she easily makes human and dog friends now on her walks and in the neighborhood. She loves playing with other dogs young, old, big or small. She will definitely need another dog to play with and doing zoomies with. She gets bored by herself and just lounges around. Bea is house trained and sleeps in her crate at night with the gate open. She has a habit of hiding in the bathroom and closes the door with her foot. She also takes naps in her crate during the day. She loves cuddling on the couch with her person. Bea is afraid of the wind and does not like staying outside by herself during windy days. She will stay very close to you until it’s time to go back inside. She gets a little worried with loud noises also. Bea will be a loving and loyal companion once she settles in. 🐾💖 Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. Story
If you're looking for a dog who will make you smile every single day, Lily is your girl. She's an affectionate, outgoing sweetheart who loves people of all ages and happily soaks up attention. Whether she's giving kisses, hanging out with the kids, or simply being by your side, Lily is happiest when she's with her family. Lily has a playful, athletic spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. She'll even "chat" with you—especially in the mornings! She isn't a barky dog, but she does enjoy having little conversations that are sure to make you laugh. She's also a smart cookie! Lily already knows sit, down, and shake, and she has a good sit-stay when asked. She's house-trained, enjoys dressing up in dog clothes, and is always ready for her next adventure. Lily loves exploring the outdoors, so it's important to keep doors and gates securely closed. Before opening an exterior door, Lily should be on leash and asked to sit-stay until released to prevent her from deciding to head out on an adventure of her own. Lily also loves other dogs and thrives with canine friends who enjoy active play. If you already have a playful dog and a securely fenced yard where they can romp together, Lily would be in heaven. Because Lily is athletic and doesn't always realize how strong she is, she may accidentally knock over toddlers or infants during her enthusiastic greetings and play. Playing with older children who can match her energy would likely be a better fit. Lily is full of love, personality, and joy. If you're looking for a playful companion who will keep you laughing, shower you with affection, and always be ready for your next adventure, Lily can't wait to meet you! *********************** Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue.
