Story
Meet Colby! Colby is a 7-month-old, 32-pound bundle of sweetness wrapped in the softest, medium-length black coat you’ll ever pet. His exact mix is a mystery, but his personality is pure gold. As a young pup, Colby is still learning the ropes—working on his leash skills, practicing his commands, and figuring out how big the world is. He would absolutely thrive in a home that’s ready to guide him, teach him, and celebrate all his little milestones along the way. What he does come fully trained in is love. Colby is affectionate, and eager to bond with his people. If you’re looking for a lovable youngster who’s ready to grow into the best dog he can be, Colby is your guy. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. Story
MEET PERCY! At about 35 pounds, Percy is a perfectly sized mixed-breed sweetheart with a big heart and a bright mind. As a young dog, he’s got that lively, fun energy you’d expect—he loves a good, long walk, playful romps with a dog friend, and opportunities to explore the world around him. The best part? Once Percy’s had his exercise and playtime, he settles right in and becomes wonderfully chill. He’s then more than happy to relax, lean in for affection, and soak up attention like sunshine. Percy is very smart and observant, with a thoughtful way of taking everything in. He gets along with other dogs and is eager to learn, making him a great match for someone excited to help a clever puppy grow into an amazing adult dog. If you’re looking for a fun, intelligent companion who balances playful energy with sweet, cuddly downtime, Percy might just be your perfect match. 🐾 *********************** Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. Story
This adorable litter comes from a sweet, scruffy terrier mix mom who weighs just 12 lbs and has the most loving personality. She truly loves everyone she meets, and her puppies are already following in her footsteps with their happy, affectionate nature. While we don’t know who the father is, we expect these pups to stay on the smaller side when fully grown. They are fun, active, quick learners, and full of charm—ready to bring joy to their future active families. Story
Meet Kasper — the best of both worlds! Kasper is a 25-lb Border Collie mix who beautifully balances adventure and chill. While his breed might suggest high energy, Kasper is actually a pretty relaxed, easygoing guy. He’s extremely observant and loves to quietly watch everything going on around him, taking it all in with those thoughtful eyes. He has the cutest way of taking treats—gently showing his teeth as he carefully accepts one from your hand—and his manners don’t stop there. Kasper walks very nicely on a leash, knows sit, and is perfectly content to calmly sit and watch the world go by. At just the right size, Kasper would be an excellent companion for hikes and adventures, but he’s equally happy hanging out on a Saturday afternoon, relaxing and watching the game with you. If you’re looking for a smart, mellow dog who can do it all, Kasper might be your perfect match. Story
If you're looking for an affectionate companion who loves to give kisses, Bea is your girl! The one-year-old is playful and would like a fenced yard where she can enjoy zoomies and other outside activities. She would benefit from having another young dog as a playmate and she quickly makes friends with mellow dogs. Bea is a smart cookie who is eager to learn. She is currently in enrichment classes and is learning to socialize with people and other canines. Bea is leash-trained and loves long walks. She would benefit with continued training to help her reach her full potential. FROM BEA'S FOSTER: Earning Bea's trust took some time, but once I've gained it she has become a very loving, happy and loyal companion. Same goes true with her dog friends -- she becomes her playful self when she sees them on the trail or in the neighborhood. Bea is housetrained and uses a doggie door. She likes sleeping in a crate at night and taking daytime naps. Bea isn't a nuisance barker, but will alert you when someone is at the door. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona.
