Story
Introducing Colby! 💙 Colby is a dashing 1-1/2 year old boy weighing 70 lbs. He loves life and a chance to spend time with you and your other pups, large or small. Colby has low-to-medium playful energy and appreciates being with his pack.  He has not shown signs of escaping, either digging under or climbing over 5’ fencing because he definitely prefers to be by your side.  He is food motivated, not food aggressive. Colby also loves spending one-on-one time for training lessons, grooming, long walks on the leash, or running alongside you in your side-by-side.  And, he is out of that puppy stage, so won’t chew on your furniture! If you’re looking for a long-time companion who will accompany you on your ranch rounds, and give you the security of a large dog in your home, he just may be the one for you! 🐾💙🐾

Meet Meagan Meagan is a petite, deep-red beauty with an elegant look that almost resembles a Basenji. Her most charming feature? That perfect curl of her tail—it’s impossible not to smile when you see it. At around 1.5 years old and weighing about 25 pounds, Meagan is a sweet, gentle girl with a soft heart. She can be a little timid in new situations, but once she feels safe, her curious and loving personality shines through. She warms up quickly and enjoys connecting with people who show her kindness and patience. Meagan is affectionate, gentle, and full of quiet charm. She’s the kind of dog who will start out shy, then surprise you with her playful curiosity and loyal devotion. With a little love and confidence-building, she’ll make an incredibly special companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful pup with a graceful spirit and a curly-tail signature, Meagan might just be your perfect match. Story
Meet Luna 🌙 Luna is a gorgeous long-haired Chihuahua with a big love for life packed into a tiny 7-pound body. She’s an active little lady—quick on her feet and always ready for playtime—but once she’s had her fun, she’s more than happy to curl up and cuddle. She’s fully house trained, enjoys spending time outdoors, and has a calm, quiet nature for a Chihuahua (not yappy!). Luna can be a bit shy at first and takes a minute to warm up, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. Because she loves to run and explore, Luna will need a home that’s mindful about doors and outdoor safety. She would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog to help her burn off energy and build confidence. Luna is looking for a loving home that will give her patience, playtime, and plenty of cozy snuggles. If you’re searching for a small dog with both spark and sweetness, Luna may be your perfect match. 💕🐾 Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. Story
If you're looking for an affectionate companion who loves to give kisses, Bea is your girl! The one-year-old is playful and would like a fenced yard where she can enjoy zoomies and other outside activities. She would benefit from having another young dog as a playmate and she quickly makes friends with mellow dogs. Bea is a smart cookie who is eager to learn. She is currently in enrichment classes and is learning to socialize with people and other canines. Bea is leash-trained and loves long walks. She would benefit with continued training to help her reach her full potential. FROM BEA'S FOSTER: Earning Bea's trust took some time, but once I've gained it she has become a very loving, happy and loyal companion. Same goes true with her dog friends -- she becomes her playful self when she sees them on the trail or in the neighborhood. Bea is housetrained and uses a doggie door. She likes sleeping in a crate at night and taking daytime naps. Bea isn't a nuisance barker, but will alert you when someone is at the door. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona.
