Prescott Valley, AZ
Size

Details
Good with kids, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Williston is a real protector and very loving dog. He is caged trained, doesn't mess in the house, loves to play and doesn't chew on things. Even though he is caged trained I always let him roam the home when gone. He does or will sleep in his cage with the door open. It is his safe spot. He will sit at the door when needing to go out. He loves children and loves to play, play, play! Very much a puppy with lots of energy. Loves to play ball and tug of war! Must have a fenced yard for him. He needs a lot of affection and in return will give you all the affection one could ever want from a dog. Williston needs help in leash training and socialization. He will bark at the littlest sound even if it is on the tv or from your computer. He has had a couple of ear infections but cleaning his ears once a week will keep this problem away.

Story
Hi. This is Phineas. He is a black lab mix. I got him from a shelter when he was a baby. He is VERY high energy and does jump up when exited but he is a very sweet boy! He has 4 dog siblings and gets along with them great. However has not been around other dogs enough for me to know how he would react. He has never been aggressive and is a quick learner. He is potty trained and has not been around many children but is very gentle around my newborn. He needs an active owner that can give him plenty exercise and attention!

Story
Meet Rocky, an approximately 3 to 4-year-old male Pitbull mix. Rocky came to the shelter as a stray and, after not being claimed, he is now up for adoption. Rocky is about as friendly as can be with people, upon arrival he walked in like everyone was already his best friend. He seems to have a very happy-go-lucky attitude and we believe he will get along just fine with other dogs, but we have not had the opportunity to try him out with any yet so a meet and greet with any future fur-siblings will be necessary. Rocky is a big boy and very strong. Although he is a sweetheart, he will need someone who can handle his size. Since we do not have a history on Rocky, we are unsure of how he will react to cats or kids. Rocky is UTD on shots, microchipped, neutered and has an appointment to receive his rabies vaccination this Friday. If you are interested in meeting Rocky, call the shelter to set up an appointment to meet him at 928-636-4223, ext. 7!

Story
Meet Roscoe, an approximately 2-year-old Border Collie mix. Roscoe came to the shelter as a stray but was not claimed by his owner. Roscoe is a loving boy who enjoys chasing tennis balls and going for walks. He is house trained, and will be neutered, microchipped, and brought up to date on Rabies on 09/22/23. Roscoe may be dog selective so a meet and greet with potential fur-siblings is a must. We do not know how Roscoe feels about cats. If you would like to meet this handsome boy, please give us a call at 928-636-4223, ext. 7 to set up an appointment.

Story
Meet Bleu, a senior dog looking for a loving home where he can enjoy the last years of his life with comfort and care. Bleu is approximately 10 years old. He does not get along with other dogs or small animals, such as cats. Bleu is a loving boy, although it takes him a few minutes to warm up to new people. He definitely has a playful puppy side and loves to go for walks. If you have room in your home for Bleu, please give us a call at 928-636-4223, ext. 7.

Siberian Husky

Female, 7 mos

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Cougar, an approximately 7-month-old female Siberian Husky. Cougar came to the shelter under very unfortunate circumstances... A good Samaritan found her and called Animal Control as she had been attacked by some kind of animal and needed medical care. Because the circumstances around the attack were unknown, Cougar had to stay at the shelter on quarantine for four months. That quarantine period is now up and she is healthy as can be and looking for her forever home! Cougar is an absolute love with all of us here that she knows and she gets along great with other dogs as well. She is very playful with dogs and LOVES to go in her swimming pool and romp around. Cougar is still working on her potty training, but she is very smart and we are sure she will get the hang of it when she has a more consistent routine at her new home. Cougar has already gotten her rabies vaccination and has an appointment set for her microchip and spay on 10/09/23. If you are interested in meeting Cougar, call the shelter to set up an appointment to meet her at 928-636-4223, ext. 7!
