Story
Meet Earl! 🐾❤️Earl is a handsome 7-year-old black and white Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix with a heart much bigger than his sometimes-cautious exterior. Earl hasn't always had the easiest life, and there are times when certain situations can bring back difficult memories. When he feels overwhelmed or triggered, he may become shy and withdrawn, so he needs a patient person who will give him the time and space to feel safe. But when Earl knows he's safe, you get to see the incredibly sweet and loving dog hiding underneath. He can be wonderfully affectionate and loves being close to his people. He's also a big fan of meat-although he can be hilariously picky about his treats! ❤️🥩Earl does well with female dogs, but he needs to be the only male dog in his home. A calm, understanding environment where he knows what to expect will help him thrive.Earl may need a little extra patience and understanding, but he has so much love to give in return. For the person willing to earn his trust, Earl has the potential to be a deeply devoted and affectionate companion who will remind you every day that gentle hearts can survive hard beginnings. Story
Meet Blanket! 🐾❤️This beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. Once living on the streets, Blanket was rescued after being hit by a car. Since coming into care, she has discovered the joys of being an indoor dog-and she is absolutely soaking up all the perks that come with it! Soft beds, regular meals, cozy spaces, and people who care about her are a pretty great upgrade. 🥹Blanket is a resilient, adaptable girl who can thrive with consistency, patience, and a predictable routine. She loves being outdoors, whether she's going for walks or simply enjoying some time outside. She does have a strong prey drive and will take off after wildlife, so a securely fenced yard is a must. She's also a fan of car rides and gets along well with other dogs. One of her biggest challenges is severe separation and kenneling anxiety. Her future family will need to be committed to working patiently with her on these issues and helping her learn that being alone and confined can be safe. She'll need someone who understands that progress may take time, but who is willing to celebrate the little victories along the way. After everything she has been through, Blanket deserves a home where she can finally feel secure, loved, and understood. She has already shown just how much she can overcome-now she needs someone willing to help her take the next steps. ❤️ Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Tri Color Weight: 22.9 Age: 3yrs 8mths 1wks

Story
Meet this sweet 4-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix who is looking for a special home where she can be your one-and-only! She isn't comfortable living with other animals, so she'd love a home where she can have all the attention to herself. This lovely girl truly enjoys human company and is happiest when she gets to spend time with her people. She also enjoys going for walks on leash, making her a great companion for someone who likes to get out and explore at a comfortable pace. She does have some ongoing medical needs that her future family will need to be prepared to manage. She has pancreatic insufficiency and requires consistent, lifelong care and medication to help keep her feeling her best. Her adopter will need to be committed to maintaining her treatment and working with their veterinarian to monitor her health. In return, she'll give you the companionship of a loyal, people-loving dog who simply wants a family of her own. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a special girl who needs a little extra care, she may be the perfect match for you! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 20.5 Age: 4yrs 3mths 0wks

Story
Meet Skye! ☁️🐾Don't let her age fool you-Skye is 8½ years young and still has plenty of pep in her step! This beautiful German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix is a sweet, friendly girl who is always ready to be part of the action.Skye absolutely loves people and is wonderful with children. She has a warm, affectionate personality and is happiest when she's getting attention from her favourite humans. With her happy energy and lovable nature, Skye has plenty of life and adventures left to share. One thing to know about Skye is that she resource guards her food from other animals, so she'll need to be fed separately and given her space while eating. With that simple management in place, she's ready to focus on what she does best: being a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate dog who proves that age is just a number, Skye may be your girl!
