Story

Kasey is a very silly goofy girl who love so so much. She was passed over to me from my mom after she was adopted because we happened to have bonded quickly and my mom struggled to do the same. Kasey is about 6/7 years old and has always struggled with her anxiety and skin itching. We’re not sure how her previous home was but she is very protective and skittish at the same time. We’re hoping to find someone willing to take her out and about on trails and walks and give her love and attention like she deserves!

Duke is a neutered male Great Dane at 4 years old. He is a big sweetheat who prefers to sunbathe in a nice yard and slobber on his human and dog friends. Duke is best known for leaning up against his favorite humans and asking for belly rubs. He goes to daycare, but would do best in a one dog home with a yard that can give him space to nap outside and receive lots of cuddles.

Ted is a pure breed Boston terrier and is very sweet and affectionate. He is 6 years old and loves playing fetch and running at the park, he gets along with most dogs but can sometimes be wary of big dogs and bark. He is great around people of all ages, he does get excited and can jump up so caution and supervision around small children is a must. He loves laying down on your lap or chest and being pet, he will even grumble if you stop petting him sometimes! We are looking for a family that will love Ted and give him a nice safe home, he’s very easy maintenance and would fit into just about any household. He was around our daughter as a baby and had never posed a risk to anyone or bitten a person or dog.

Percy has been at the shelter for 6 months! He is a wonderful dog, but is being overlooked because there are so many huskies at the shelter right now. Percy is a young, spunky, playful husky that loves toys and treats. He is sure to keep you entertained and will keep you laughing and smiling all day! Percy came into the shelter with some young puppy antics, but has gotten much better with his manners over time. He would be a great dog to keep you active and would do well with training or agility work. Percy has a lot of energy at the shelter, but he is in a kennel most of the day, so he will likely be a bit more calm when he has more exercise and attention. Come meet this adorable 2 ½ year old husky by calling (805) 781-4400 to make an appointment or stop by during open kennel hours Monday-Saturday 1:00-5:00 and until 7 on Wednesday evening
