Story
Watson – Mini Red Merle Australian Shepherd (Purebred)** Watson is a very affectionate and loyal dog. He’s a purebred mini red Merle Australian Shepherd with a ton of love to give. He thrives at the park and the beach, where he’s calm, playful, and happy. At home, Watson becomes very protective of both the house and our 9-year-old son. Because of this, we’re unable to have people over, and it has become difficult to host other children. As hard as it is for our family, we’ve made the decision to rehome him so our son can have friends visit safely. Watson would do best in a home **without children or other dogs**, with someone who understands his protective nature and can give him the structure and environment he needs. He truly is a loving companion—just not the right fit for our home.

Story
Hans is a very lovable 10 year old Sausage dog. He loves cuddles and walks. I adopted him because our other family dog seemed lonely after my Step dad passed. But times changed, and I no longer live with my mom and her dog. I have moved out, gotten married, and had a baby! Hans kept me company and kept me warm in my single years! It's becoming too hard to have Hans and a two year old running around. Our house is too small for all of us, even though Hans is under 20lbs. I think he is stressed trying to be careful of the toddler. She fell on him last month and he snapped at her. I feel he would be better in a household with no children. He really just wants love and attention and cuddles, but we are too touched out already. He however does not love his back touched- long back, must be sensitive and he will let you know. He has been a wonderful companion to me for the last nine years and I hope someone can find him who understands him. I know he has a lot of good years left.

Story
Ozzy is a great dog, a loyal companion, and a good cuddler. He is loving and sweet. He has been with us since he was 8 weeks old, and will be 5 in May of 2026. He is playful and eager to please. He's a good listener while in the house and understands house rules. Our desicion to rehome him stems from resource guarding, and his over protectiveness of our kids. In the past he has always gotten along with other dogs. He has started fighting with our sweet senior dog over food, toys, and beds. He will chase after cats. We prefer he goes to a home with no kids, he's great with our kids, but has twice nipped at the feet of other kids chasing ours. He barks defensively at the neighbors when at the door or backyard fence. I don't know if he would have the same problems in another home, but would prefer him to be the only dog, no cats, no kids. Despite these things, with the right person who has the time to properly train him, I think Ozzy would be the perfect dog.

Story
Shane is a WONDERFUL dog. He continues to amaze us on how good he is. He is truly a really great dog, really good with kids, potty trained and crate trained, and SO smart. He’s got a lot of playful gentle energy so he will need a yard to be able to explore and get his zoomies out. He is strong on the leash and will most likely need some training for walks. Also keep in mind he is part Husky so he sheds. My mom who lives with us is more allergic than anticipated and I’m also currently dealing with back pain issues, otherwise I would keep him in a heartbeat. My kids are 8 and 11 and he’s really gentle and playful with them. He will bring a lot of joy and love to your home. Shane comes with a crate, crate dog bed, dog bed, bag of food, water/food bowl, collar, leash, harness and some toys.
