Story
We obtained Doug through a rescue in August. In November we went to Florida for the winter. He is highly allergic to something there. So much so, we had to buy a prescription for it. He is a great dog. Very affectionate and loving. He is best when he has a little room to run. We live in a Motor home and being gone all day is not fair to him. He does not like dogs at first but we have friends that own a dog and they are best friends.

Story
Adoption fee is $50 during our Bissell Empty the Shelters event 5/1 - 5/15!! Application must be submitted to secure an appointment! Our handsome Domino, our longest resident| To know him is to love him and he has the biggest heart! He's a happy-go-lucky kind of guy that never meets a stranger. He gives bear hugs better than any human we know! He is a big boy and gets overlooked time and time again simply because of his size. He doesn't understand why his friends come and go while he hopefully waits every day for his happily ever after. While he is big (84 pounds) and strong, he is a smart guy and responds very well to training and direction. With a little bit of love and patience, he will be the perfect gentleman. Domino 2.5 years old, loves to play, and would enjoy a fenced-in backyard to run and stretch his legs. If you enjoy huge hugs, playing tug of war, and being the center of an adoring dog's entire world, Domino just might be your guy!! Bonus: Dom is currently eligible for Bissell's Empty The Shelters event which reduces his adoption fee from $250 to $50! The adoption fee includes vet exam, up-to-date shots, deworming, heartworm test (negative), and microchip and neuter, all already done. If you are interested in adopting Domino, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under 'adopt'.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Adoption fee is $50 during our Bissell Empty the Shelters event 5/1 – 5/15!! Application must be submitted to secure an appointment! Our beautiful Madison would like to remind everyone that she is looking for her forever home! She is a very sweet, chocolate brown Shepherd mix. The only thing bigger than Madison’s smile is her loving heart! She is an active girl but very well behaved on her leash. She enjoys going for walks and showing off her impressive breakdancing skills! She is also very talented at catching treats! Her breed is a best guess... maybe Cattle dog or Kelpie and Lab. She's a very sweet, friendly girl with lots of energy. She has been ok with the dogs at the rescue and another dog that has a high energy level could be a good match for Madison to have as a playmate. Madison is estimated to be about 2.5 years old and weighs around 55 lbs. Her $250 adoption fee has been reduced to $50 and covers vetting, up to date shots, deworming, spay, heartworm test (negative) and microchip, all already done.. If you are interested in adopting Madison, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under "Adopt".If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Adoption fee is $50 during our Bissell Empty the Shelters event 5/1 - 5/15!! Application must be submitted to secure an appointment! Hi I'm Nala! I was found as a stray in the Miami area before coming to GOFAR. I appear to have had puppies in the past, but raising babies and fighting to survive are behind me now! I'm happy and healthy and ready for my forever home. I'm estimated at about 2.5 years old, weigh around 60 lbs and I'm a Shepherd mix, but a little on the shorter side. I'm really super cute and very people friendly, but can be dog selective. I would do better with a calmer, well-balanced dog. My $250 adoption fee has been reduced to $50 and includes deworming, all vetting, up to date shots, heartworm test (negative) microchip and spay, all already done. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog.
