Middleburg, FL
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Skyler is a calm and fun loving shepherd mix. I have had her since she was a puppy. She is the alpha female. She loves kids. She is fully potty trained. She knows stay, sit, leave it, touch, and can go to the bathroom on command. She also knows the german commands for sit, lay, and heel. She loves walks, cuddles, and car rides. Skyler has bladder stones. She is prone to them and will keep getting them the rest of her life according to the vet. She had them removed in 2019 and they have returned more than before. I can't afford the medical bills now. Even with the special dog food of Urinary SO which is $100 for 24lbs the stones will still return over time. However if you keep her on the SO diet it will postpone them for a little She is a tough cookie and she acts like it does not bother her too much but I know she is in pain. I need someone that needs a companion or a family that has kids that can shower her with attention and afford the medical bills she will continue to have.

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We adopted Lady when she was just 6 weeks old. She is now 4. She is amazingly intelligent and a gentle giant. She is a large animal. She's a COVID baby so she isn't super socialized with other dogs. She gets along well with her brother (non related), but doesn't have a lot of patience for other dogs. She LOVES being outside and would prefer a place where she can have a fenced in backyard to roam free. She is super food motivated and loves all people. She is good with kids, however, she is large and doesn't realize her own strength. So, I would watch her around toddlers just so she doesn't inadvertently hurt them. But she is super sweet and people friendly.

Story
King was adopted when he was 6 weeks old. He is currently a little overweight and should be put on a diet. He is super smart and low maintenance. He doesn't require a lot of outside time, but loves hanging out with his humans. He does love to scrounge for food and socks! He is fearful of people and will bark when strangers are nearby. He has no bite history, but is not people friendly.

Middleburg, FL

(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details

Story
Hermes is a smart and sensitive 17-pound older gentleman. He loves to cuddle and walk with his humans, play fetch and romp with other dogs. Small children make him nervous and territorial, especially around food. Because of this he went to live with my in-laws when my daughter was a toddler, however we discovered he was being very poorly taken care of, and because his allergies went untreated he has some permanent bald spots on his legs and missing teeth from chewing on cage bars. Now we have had to move in with family he is not able to stay with us.

Story
Persephone is very sweet and we've had her since a puppy. We have to move put of our current home and cannot find housing that will accept my dogs. She is crate trained and hugs on command. She has been with other dogs but it will take time for her to get used to new dogs. She's shy with new people and takes time to warm up. Loves children, loves walking in the woods. Not good with cats. Her mom is my pomchiweenie and her dad is the neighbor's purebred German shepherd. We'll also be rehoming mom.

Story
Boxie is a fun loving Boxer Lab mix. She loves everyone and is gentle with kids. She's great with other dogs and has been around a cat with no problem (since we don't have a cat I haven't see this long term). She is joyful and friendly -- truly a best friend. She is house-trained and knows basic commands like lay down, sit, and come here. We can no longer keep her after a recent move and hope to find a home for her where she is loved as much as we love her!
