Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue www.cairnrescue.comHi Guys! I’m Perry and I am ready for my fur-ever home! I am a very active little guy. I love to run and play with my stuffies but my favorite game is tug-of-war! I need a little help learning what is okay to play that game with. My foster mom doesn’t like me to play with her laundry so I’m trying not to play with that as much! My days are pretty fun. I wake up early and need to go outside right away. If you can have my breakfast ready for me when I come back, I would really appreciate it. I think I have a pretty high metabolism so I get hungry fast. My foster dad is my favorite person to snuggle with. He likes to fluff up what he calls my “MoHawk!” I would fit well in an active family that has a fenced-in backyard. I have a lot of energy that I need to burn off. I do great on walks and like meeting new people and animals. I haven’t had one accident in my foster home. Oh, I am not a fan of sleeping in a crate but I will if I have to. My favorite spot is on the couch in the living room! I get along great with my foster sisters who are teens and my foster brother. I might be a little too rough with small children because I do LOVE to jump! I can jump super high and would love to learn how to run agility courses! Everyone says that I’m SUPER smart and an amazingly quick learner.FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION ON PERRY ENTER OR COPY THIS LINK ONTO YOUR WEB BROWSER:https://www.cairnrescue.com/store/dogs/ Perry is being fostered in Mt. Story
Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue www.cairnrescue.comI’m an older gentleman, and Col. Potter literally saved my life! I was rescued from a local shelter after languishing for 6 months in that stressful, cramped, caged environment. After my time there, I wasn’t the friendliest guy to my foster family when I first joined them, but I’ve since become the biggest love bug. I love to snuggle on laps, play with my toys, and I love to go on 15 – 20 minute walks. I do sometimes bark at fellow walkers and their pets. I’ve also enjoyed meeting the people who visit my foster home, although I am usually vocal in my greeting. You never need to worry about anyone unexpected coming to your door without me knowing! I do have some strong opinions, for example I do not like getting my nails trimmed. However, I do enjoy brushings and baths. I would love to have my own home again. If you are a patient person, who will work with me to gain my trust, I’ll be a loyal, loving, and attentive companion!FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION ON YUKI ENTER OR COPY THIS LINK ONTO YOUR WEB BROWSER:https://www.cairnrescue.com/store/dogs/ Yuki is being fostered in Centreville, VA in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!LEARN OUR 'ADOPTION FAQS': Any questions that you may have about our adoption process, fees, transporting a dog, and our policy not to adopt to families with small children, can be answered at our main website or going directly to this link: https://www.cairnrescue.com/service/faq/ IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU READ THE FAQ'S BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION. Story
Jax is a 10 month olde English bulldog. Very playing medium to high energy. Needs space to run and play. We live in a small apartment and work a lot with little to no time to give Jax the love and attention he deserves. He isn’t fully trained and spends most of the time in his crate to prevent harm to himself while we’re away at work. He is very goofy and sweet but because he isn’t given adequate attention he needs training. He is not fully potty trained but he is a very smart dog he needs someone who has the time to give him what he deserves. I wish we were able to give him a better life but we want him to be happy. I think he would do well with kids or another animal. He is not reactive or aggressive but he is a puppy and likes to play. We will be sending him with all of his toys.

Story
Briggs is a good dog that needs someone to be home with him or a back yard that he can hang out in when the owner is not home. He is house trained, but when the owner is gone he will not hold his functions. He does get along with other dogs when properly introduced. He is great with kids. He does not like cats or other small animals. If you’re able to be with him he is as sweet as can be. Unfortunately, my professional and recent changes to my work schedule do not allow me to be home with him the way he needs.

Story
Luna is a super sweet Catahoula Leopard dog mixed with Aussie. She would love to find a forever home with a fenced yard, and another active, energetic dog to play with. Luna is a special needs dog because she needs help emptying her bladder. When she was just a young pup she and another dog got loose and went into a neighbor's yard where they were shot. The dog she was with was killed and she was shot in the back as she was running away. Thankfully she survived and is now recovered and can walk fine but she doesn't have any feeling back there, so she needs to wear diapers indoors, and she needs help expressing her bladder. We know that involves extra work, but it's not very difficult at all. We amputated her tail to make cleaning her easier. We're hoping you will open your heart to this super sweet, gorgeous, very special girl. Hi! I am Autumn! I am a sweet loving girl. I am only 37 lbs. and kind of short and stocky.
