Story
Luna is a super energetic Husky Shepard mix. She is super sweet and loving and gets along great with other dogs, she also loves meeting new people. I live in an apartment and ideally Luna needs a backyard with some room to run. She loves going to the dog park and to the beach, she’s is a great swimmer and loves playing in the ocean. I am super sad to have to let her go but she needs more time and attention than I can give her. The rehiring fee is open to negotiation as long as she goes to a good home.

Story
We adopted Luna aka Lulu from Wags and Whiskers in summer of 2019. Luna is sweet and loving but is extremely energetic! She loves to go for walks and listens very well with commands. We have taken her to dog parks and dog day cares, and she has never been viscous, but she is a very rough player, and we worry she could hurt a dog from playing. She is on a daily dose of anxiety medication, and she will at times get trazodone for certain high anxiety xxxx@xxxx.x we leave her with pet sitter or if she has vet visit. In the years that we have had her, she has been trained by a local dog trainer and she listens well with standard commands. However, what we cannot seem to break her of is resource guarding. She is very protective of mommy and will at times act weird or growl if one of our kids comes near or tries to hand me something. More recently, she has started food/treat resource guarding. We cannot take the risk with our two children anymore. We LOVE HER! but...

Story
Hashbrown was adopted as a little puppy my Husband and I over 5 years ago. He is a sweet loving and very cuddly boy. We now have two toddlers and busy schedules. In addition to this Hashbrown has some needs that are making him a challenge. Specifically, he does not do well in a crate. Salivates and gets anxious. He also has a bad habit of locking himself in rooms by closing the door behind himself. Then he gets anxious and occasionally to the point of wanting to chew himself out.

Story
Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue www.cairnrescue.comI’m an older gentleman, and Col. Potter literally saved my life! I was rescued from a local shelter after languishing for 6 months in that stressful, cramped, caged environment. After my time there, I wasn’t the friendliest guy to my foster family when I first joined them, but I’ve since become the biggest love bug. I love to snuggle on laps, play with my toys, and I love to go on 15 – 20 minute walks. I do sometimes bark at fellow walkers and their pets. I’ve also enjoyed meeting the people who visit my foster home, although I am usually vocal in my greeting. You never need to worry about anyone unexpected coming to your door without me knowing! I do have some strong opinions, for example I do not like getting my nails trimmed. However, I do enjoy brushings and baths. I would love to have my own home again. If you are a patient person, who will work with me to gain my trust, I’ll be a loyal, loving, and attentive companion!FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION ON YUKI ENTER OR COPY THIS LINK ONTO YOUR WEB BROWSER:https://www.cairnrescue.com/store/dogs/ Yuki is being fostered in Centreville, VA in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!LEARN OUR 'ADOPTION FAQS': Any questions that you may have about our adoption process, fees, transporting a dog, and our policy not to adopt to families with small children, can be answered at our main website or going directly to this link: https://www.cairnrescue.com/service/faq/ IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU READ THE FAQ'S BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION.
