Story
Hi everyone, this is Sandy! Sandy is a playful and energetic 10-month-old pup who loves attention and belly scratches. I’ve had her since she was four months old, but due to changing family dynamics, longer work hours, and being diagnosed with raynauds syndrome I can no longer give her the time and care she deserves. She is some type of poodle mix, though Im not exactly sure what her specific mix is. She would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play. She is up-to-date on all her vaccinations but has not been spayed yet (you may want to confirm if she’s old enough for the procedure). Sandy is a loving and sweet companion, and I want to ensure she finds a home where she will get the love and attention she needs. If you or someone you know might be interested in giving her a forever home, please reach out! I am open to traveling if need be.

Story
Whiskey is a sweet, fun loving and active girl! She is around 7 months old. She is a husky/lab/ greyhound at least that is what we have been told. This girl does like to cause some mischief when she gets bored so an active family with a fenced yard is a must! Antlers and toys that are indestructible are also a good help for keeping her out of trouble most of the time. She is great with other dogs though she isn't the best at understanding when they have had enough of her puppy energy. She would do best in a home where she has another dog friend to burn her energy and continue teaching her how to dog! She is working on walking on a leash. She is mostly housetrained. She is great with dog savvy cats but I would say no kittens for her at this point as she doesn't understand how big she is and wants to play with them a bit too rough. She is starting to like her kennel more but is a barker when you leave so apartment living isn't going to be the best option for her. She is ready to find her new family to continue teaching her how to be the best dog out there.

Meat Dolly, she is a sweet yellow lab. She was born October 22. She is looking for a family to call her own. She is been around cats and dogs. She is learning how to live with other dogs. She’s never had to share her space with other dogs but is doing well. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows sit. She likes to play fetch but not sure on bringing it back but she is learning 😂. If you’re interested, please fill out a pre-adoption application. http://hsuv.org/pre-adoption-questionnaire

Story
River and Ember are a beautiful unbonded pair of 11-month-old mixed breed sisters looking for a home that will give them the love, patience, and space they deserve. These sweet girls may start off shy, but their gentle, affectionate personalities shine through once they feel safe and loved. Both pups grew up around other dogs and would likely do well in a home with a confident canine friend. While their experience with cats is unknown, one thing is certain—they love children. Some of their favorite moments include playing with toys and bouncing around on the trampoline with kids in the backyard. Their playful spirits come alive when they’re with their favorite little humans or their toys. River and Ember are both crate trained and doing well with their routines, but they will still need support as they finish up their house training and learn to walk confidently on a leash. A home with a secure fenced yard is a must—these girls need room to explore, stretch their legs, and build trust at their own pace. Due to their need for space and a calm environment, apartments aren’t the right fit. These sisters have so much potential and are just waiting for the right family to help them continue to grow into the wonderful dogs they’re meant to be. If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet soul ready to thrive, River and Ember would love to meet you.
