Story
Daisy is a fun loving, active dog, who loves to give a cheesy grin when she greets people. She had been trained for service but has anxiety too high for working in public places like stores. She is trained to help someone up the stairs, down the stairs, hold in place for helping with balance, to give hugs and deep pressure therapy for anxiety. She is up to date on her shots. She does have one very minor health issue that is inexpensive for maintenance. She has a tendency to develop bladder stones causing infection. She has not had one since putting her on Diamond Dog food ($40-50 on average for 40pounds) and a daily bladder supplement that’s about $20 a month for the supplement. She is almost 2 years old and still thinks she’s a pup. She’s good with all children just too rough with littles. She is also a dominant temperament with other dogs as a warning no homes with another dominant dog. She also does well with small pets like rabbits or ferrets for example.

Story
Whiskey is a sweet, fun loving and active girl! She is around 7 months old. She is a husky/lab/ greyhound at least that is what we have been told. This girl does like to cause some mischief when she gets bored so an active family with a fenced yard is a must! Antlers and toys that are indestructible are also a good help for keeping her out of trouble most of the time. She is great with other dogs though she isn't the best at understanding when they have had enough of her puppy energy. She would do best in a home where she has another dog friend to burn her energy and continue teaching her how to dog! She is working on walking on a leash. She is mostly housetrained. She is great with dog savvy cats but I would say no kittens for her at this point as she doesn't understand how big she is and wants to play with them a bit too rough. She is starting to like her kennel more but is a barker when you leave so apartment living isn't going to be the best option for her. She is ready to find her new family to continue teaching her how to be the best dog out there.

Story
Meet Cooper! Cooper is a lab mix looking for an energetic home! He LOVES his tug-o-war!! At 1 year, he is still young with some puppy energy and will need a home willing to continue his training. He does well with older kids that respect his boundries. He is dog selective, so an only dog home would be best. He could do ok with other dogs with proper introduction. He is very smart and athletic and would do great with canine sports! He cannot be in a home with any small animals including cats. If interested, please head to our website and fill out our pre-adoption questionnaire. hsuv.org.

Story
$0 adoption fee! Fully sponsored by Bully Barbell and Empire Strength and Fitness Adoption includes neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. Yazu is a great dog who is sweet & playful and looking for a forever home! Yazu loves to play with other dogs (he could prefer male dogs) who match his energy. He would be bothersome to a dog that doesn't like to exercise but would be great as the only dog in the household or with a pup looking for a playmate! He didn't have any potty accidents in his recent foster home & with continued support, he will have no problem staying house trained. He interacted with kids ages 7 and 10 years old & was gentle. Yazu would likely be great with kids 10+ who can respect dogs & their space. Apply to adopt Yazu now!! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SRAS/Dog

Story
Dart doesn't need all of the fuss of a puppy...he's a simple man who loves getting petted, playing with a classic bone, & running around the yard. He has a sweet, loving personality & loves people so much! Dart was surrendered due to no fault of his own & from the looks of it, nothing makes him happier than a little time outside & the creature comforts that every dog deserves. Dart has lived with children his entire life along with large female dogs. He hasn't lived with cats & we do not recommend it. Dart is a happy-go-lucky dog who just needs a fenced yard to play in & lots of love to be happy at home! Come take Dart for a walk & see all he has to offer!
