Story
Shiloh is a very sweet 6 year old girl. The vet thinks she is Collie, Husky, Shepherd, but to me that face says there's Corgi in there somewhere! We adopted Shiloh from a rescue at 3 months old after someone discovered her and her litter mates thrown in a dumpster. She has always been timid, but as our kids have aged and our house has become increasingly noisy and active Shiloh has become unhappy and spends most of her time hiding in the basement. Shiloh is good with kids, adults and other dogs (she's never been around cats) but she does need a quieter/calmer home. She also loves a good bone, chasing a ball in the backyard, running through the snow and laying in front of the fireplace! The only reason she's not up to date on shots is because she's not a fan of going places.

Story
Daisy is an amazing 4 1/2 year old female shar pei that would fit into almost any home.    She is spayed, has had obedience training, and is full of fun and energy. Daisy loves the other foster dogs in her home (especially the males).    And she is all about the kisses with her foster parents.    Daisy met some cats when she was training and totally ignored them.  She knows commands such as sit, stay, place (to go to her mat or raised bed), come (sometimes she has selective hearing on this one) and others.   She is house-trained, crate-trained and is familiar with an electronic training collar and loves to please. Daisy would love a yard to run around in, always appreciates a good bone, loves toys and even goes to boarding on occasion when her foster parents do a weekend getaway.  The boarding place gives her very good reviews!     She would do  best in a home without small kids because she is a bit afraid of them and will bark and be nervous around them. Daisy is fostering in Oregon City, OR and weighs about 45 pounds.July 26, 2024, 4:27 pm

Story
We got Jax when he was eight weeks old from a breeder in our former city. He is three years old. At first, he loved everyone and was so sweet. And he grew fast! When he hit his “teen” time, he changed a lot and started acting fearful of my teen and young adult children. He was fine with my husband and I. We hoped that when he got neutered, maybe he would return to his old self. About six months ago, he started exhibiting fear toward my husband as well. He is sweet to kids, teens, and adults who visit us, but weirdly avoids and is fearful of my kids and husband. We have tried EVERYTHING to remind him that my kids and husband are safe, but we just can’t figure it out. Our circumstances have changed, as well, where I now work full time. With everyone’s schedules, we’re struggling to find time to walk him. He is sweet and derpy. He gets really excited to meet new people and struggles to contain his massive self. He is chill around other dogs and doesn’t engage with aggressive dogs.

Story
Whiskey is a sweet, fun loving and active girl! She is around 7 months old. She is a husky/lab/ greyhound at least that is what we have been told. This girl does like to cause some mischief when she gets bored so an active family with a fenced yard is a must! Antlers and toys that are indestructible are also a good help for keeping her out of trouble most of the time. She is great with other dogs though she isn't the best at understanding when they have had enough of her puppy energy. She would do best in a home where she has another dog friend to burn her energy and continue teaching her how to dog! She is working on walking on a leash. She is mostly housetrained. She is great with dog savvy cats but I would say no kittens for her at this point as she doesn't understand how big she is and wants to play with them a bit too rough. She is starting to like her kennel more but is a barker when you leave so apartment living isn't going to be the best option for her. She is ready to find her new family to continue teaching her how to be the best dog out there.
