Arya came to us as a stray so we do not have background information on her. We guess she is 2-3 years old. She is a very sweet girl who doesn't seem to mind other dogs and while she is timid, she easily warms up to all people including children. She is heartworm negative. She has not been cat tested but can be if needed. Email REASmanager@gmail.com if you're interested in Arya!

Story
Remi was an owner surrender. She is a very sweet girl who gets along with kids and other dogs, but has a habit of escaping a fenced in yard. Her previous owner said she did do fine with cats. She looks like she most definitely has some beagle in her, but she is not the typical beagle size and she is what we consider a large dog.

Story
Tom and his brother Jerry came to us from a home with an accidental litter. We are told he is part lab and part golden doodle. Tom is skiddish here in the shelter, but a very sweet dog once he warms up and feels more confident. He is really scared of the shelter cats because this is his first time seeing them. We are not sure if he would chase them once he feels more comfortable but we will continue to socialize him with cats while he is here. He is 7 months old and 63 pounds so do expect him to grow more. Please call 812.608.0552 for an appointment to meet Tom!

Stubbs

American Bulldog

Male, 4 yrs 7 mos
Cannelton, IN
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Stubbs was found as a stray in April of 2024. He was then adopted out and has been returned to us due to no fault of his own. Stubbs is a very calm, lazy boy. A soft place to land and a bone would be the perfect life for Stubbs. He doesn't have interest in other dogs or cats. He doesn't like them in his face, but would do amazing with a senior dog. We think he is a bully mix and he is definitely heavy! but he is a low rider with short legs! His droopy face is the cutest.

Cannelton, IN
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tio was abandoned with a bag of dog food at a cemetery. He has been a friendly boy to everyone at the shelter and seems to know some basic commands such as sit. He is somewhere between 1 and 2 years old. He seems to do well with other dogs here but we would want to do a meet and greet with other dogs in the home. He has enjoyed the children he has met while being with us. Please email REASmanager@gmail.com or call 8126080552 if you are interested in making an appointment to meet Tio.
