Story
Hattie is a very sweet girl who loves treats. She has been in the office around cats and has played with some dogs. Hattie is incredibly smart and food-driven. She knows how to sit and is learning to wait at doors, touch, and down. She doesn't seem to have much experience walking on a leash but is catching on quickly. Hattie does like to jump on people to say hello and thinks she is a tiny puppy. Coming out of her kennel Hattie is vey high energy but during home visits she settles fairly quickly and wants to chill on the couch. Due to her size and energy, we do not recommend that she live in a house with children under 12. Hattie is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. If you are interested in Hattie please fill out an adoption application on our website.

Story
This high-energy eight-month-old girl is ready for her forever home. Freya loves bubbles and will play with them as long as you let her. She is very easily excited and bouncy, so we do not recommend her for a home with children. She is looking for a home that has the patience for a big energetic puppy that needs daily exercise and training. She knows how to sit and lay down, and has been learning about walking on a leash. We are not sure if she will accept another dog as we are currently testing her around other animals. She grew up in a home where she was the only pet, so that might be what she is going to need as a good match. Freya is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you are interested in Freya, please fill out an adoption application.

Story
Meet Charlie, a charming 2-year-old Black Lab mix who’s ready to find his forever home! This sweet boy is full of love and personality, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Charlie is friendly, playful, and affectionate once he warms up. Charlie’s a sweetheart who loves to give kisses and show his playful side! He is active but not hyperactive. Charlie enjoys playtime with other dogs and loves his toys—especially his favorite stuffy, which he carries around like his baby. Charlie had a rough start after being abandoned by his previous owner. Despite this, his spirit remains bright, and he’s ready to trust again with a little patience. It may take some time for Charlie to warm up to new people, but once he does, you’ll be greeted with his adorable “dancing game”—he’ll come close, then playfully dart away, showing off his fun and loving nature. Charlie is house-trained and kennel-trained, making him an easy-going and happy companion. He’d thrive in a patient home that gives him time to build trust and feel secure. Once comfortable, Charlie’s playful, loving nature shines through, and he’ll be your loyal best friend. A home with a yard for playtime or opportunities for walks and toy time would be perfect for this happy-go-lucky pup. Ready to meet this lovable goofball? Contact us to arrange a meet-and-greet with Charlie today! Let’s help this sweet boy find the forever home he’s been dreaming of. 🐾 If you would like to learn more about Charlie or one of our other rescue dogs, please visit our website https://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptioninfo and fill out an application form. Story
Meet Felipe! Felipe is a 1-year-old, 60 lb Shepherd mix with a big heart and an adventurous spirit! He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and ready to find his forever family. Felipe is friendly with other dogs, doesn’t mind cats, and loves both people and kids. Because he’s still young, energetic, and strong, a home with older children would be the best fit. He’s doing great learning to walk nicely on a leash and already knows his crate routine. This playful boy loves to run, jump, and explore — an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures would be perfect for him. But once the fun is over, Felipe is also happy to settle down and relax by your side. Felipe was born with what we believe is blindness in one eye, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit! He navigates the world with confidence and joy. If you would like to learn more about Felipe or one of our other rescue dogs, please visit our website https://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptioninfo and fill out an application form.
