Story
Apollo was born mid October 2022 is a big dog with so much love to give. I am moving and when I originally got him he had lots of land to run on now stuck in my small yard and I am moving into an apartment this summer. I prefer someone with land but if you have a big yard and time to play and exercise him I will consider. He thinks his paw is a hand and will use it to get your attention or let you know he wants to play. He is good around my 2 year old grandson and has been even as a toddler. Every now and then he will attempt to take a ball from him but with redirection he understands it is not allowed. He is tall so might intimidate kids. He can play rough with adults and only been around my toddler grandson. He played with neighbor kid and scared her because he smack her with his paw wanting her to play. He loves being outside but wants to be part of the family to. He has a doggy door but if it is closed will knock on front door to let you know he needs to go outside.

Story
I took Scout in because of the death of the lady that owned him. She had him for a month and then she was diagnosed with cancer and died a month later. I have had him for a month. He is 4 years old. He is a very sweet loving dog but needs someone who has time to train him and spend time with him. I am on a very large property and I own farm animals and he chases them so I have had to put him on a long line, which I hate doing. I would keep him but I can’t have a dog that runs livestock and I don’t want him tied up for the rest of his life. He is crate trained. I have kept him outside. He is a large dog and doesn’t t know boundaries with very small children. He is smart and would learn quickly. He does bark to let me know when someone comes onto my property. He would do well with a family of older children and room to run. He just needs a family with time to train him in basic obedience. I started training him to walk on a lead. I am just too busy to take care of him.
