Teagan is a 1-2 year old Boston terrier/French bulldog type dog likely a frenchton. She weighs around 20lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. Teagan has had two surgeries to reduce her cherry eyes and she has now recovered and is ready for a forever home that is experienced in the breeds. Teagan is a loving girl who is very energetic and playful. She loves playing with other dogs of all sizes. She can be bossy with treats sometimes and tries to take more than her fair share. Teagan is working on potty and crate training and does know how to use a doggy door. When she gets really excited sometimes she gets mouthy and play nips so we suggest no younger children (although she is currently around a dog savvy five year old). Teagan was likely bred to be a designer "Pink" color. With this comes the very pale blue eyes. She is sensitive to sunlight and will squint and close her eyes alot outside. She will be susceptible to sun burns so needs to have care taken when outdoors. We are going to start her on training with doggles to protect her eyes from UV light. Meet Chanel Number 5! Chanel isn't ACTUALLY a spokesman for the perfume brand. She was named when she was first pulled from the shelter. After living on the streets, she was a VERY smelly, matted, sickly mess. Since arriving at her foster home, she has had several baths, nail trims, grooming sessions, antibiotics, a dental procedure and a skin surgery to treat a nasty skin infection, and she smells MUCH better now. Chanel was clearly a beloved pet in living a home once upon a time. She looks for the softest dog beds, she knows how to use stairs, she TRIES to go outside when she needs to go (even if she doesn't always find her way) and actively wants to know where her humans are. We simply don't know how she ended up wandering the streets alone. She IS a senior dog - mostly blind, mostly deaf and slow walking. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm free. The only remaining health issue is her feet - at some point in her journey as a stray, the pads on her back feet tore off. So she wears very cute infant socks to protect them while they heal. She won't need them forever, but she doesn't have as much pain wearing them while they heal. Chanel spends her day alternating between enjoying her long naps and wandering between napping spots. She's slowly learning her way around the house and even the yard. Sometimes, when it's time to go out, we carry her just to save time, but she does try to go out for bathroom duties. When she decides it's time for dinner, and she cannot find her humans, she will bark for them. When she finds them, she wags her tail happily and follows them as well as she can. She definitely feels safe when the humans are home Chanel has had a rough time that she did not deserve - who dumps an elderly house pet? She definitely deserves a kind, safe home with a dog bed for her twilight years. If you can be that home for her, please fill out an application. This sweet, chunky land hippo is searching for a foster home or better yet a foster-to-adopt home while she undergoes heartworm treatment!! Gloria is about 4 years old. Weighs 68 pounds and we believe she is a Pit/Bulldog mix of some kind. Gloria seems to have a pretty mellow temperament. She’s not overly playful. With the energy she does have, she exerts it towards her affection for humans and wanting cuddles! We think she would be fine to live with other dogs that are more mellow and don’t care to play much. We aren’t sure what she thinks about cats. Gloria is going to make someone an awesome companion!! Gloria is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.

Meet Demeter!! This precious girl is about 10 months old. We believe she is a Pitbull mix of some kind. She currently weighs 60 pounds and is about done growing. If anything she could gain a bit more weight. Demeter is apart of the litter of puppies that were born in our care last October. She was adopted out and unfortunately ended up back in our care due to unfortunate circumstances that were not her fault. Demeter is a very people oriented, loving girl!! She wants so badly to be someone’s best friend, pride and joy! She is not a very energetic pup, she would really just enjoy getting to snuggle up and chill with her human! She is a little curious around our other dogs here at the shelter. She really prefers to be around more mellow dogs who don’t pay her much attention. She doesn’t mind playing as long as she can be the one to initiate and they don’t jump on her a bunch. We have no idea what she thinks about cats. Demeter really is such a great girl! We know she will make someone a fantastic companion!! Demeter is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.

Meet Cash!! This handsome boy is about 2 and a half years old. We believe he is a Pitbull mix of some kind. He currently weighs about 58 pounds and is done growing. Cash is a goofy guy that is ready to have a family of his own! Cash has become a fan favorite amongst our staff and volunteers!! His goofy, loving personality is enough to grab anyone’s attention and make you fall in love!! Cash is initially super energetic and excitable when first greeting someone. But overall he is a relatively mellow, chill guy!! We have tried him with a few playmates here at the shelter, he plays for only a little bit. He is more of a co-exister where he just likes to wander around sniff and enjoy the company. He’s not one to wrestle around and play a lot. He does seem to prefer female dogs. We aren’t sure what he thinks about cats. Cash is a really awesome boy! We know he will make someone a great addition to the family!! Cash is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $85.
