She is a sweet girl who loves people of all ages and is very eager to please, especially when yummy snacks are involved. She's a happy girl who wants everyone to heat about it!Her favorite things are food, naps, and people. She has attended lots of training classes including classes in agility and scentwork. She is even UKC registered and holds a confirmation title, she's the whole package. She is a Coonhound which means she has a big voice that she knows how to use when she's excited including on walks when she sees other dogs. Her ideal home would be somewhere rural or suburban where she has lots of room to stretch her long legs. She would be okay with apartment living with the right people! She would get along well with humans who love the outdoors and have hound experience.

Meet Marley - a happy, playful, approximately 3-year-old male mix from Moose Creek who is ready to find his forever family! Marley is an active, affectionate boy who loves people and enjoys being part of the action. He is friendly with strangers, gets along well with men, women, and children, and has a sweet, submissive nature with people. He is well mannered, knows "sit," is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and can be left alone uncrated. He is not an excessive barker. This fun-loving guy is very food motivated and is generally a good eater - though he has been known to take advantage of an unattended snack on the counter from time to time! Marley sleeps comfortably on a dog bed or pad with blankets, or in his crate, and is currently not allowed on furniture in his foster home. Marley is dog selective and can be more dominant with other dogs. He should not live with cats, and he has not yet been tested with farm or small animals. Because he can resource guard food from other dogs, he will need a family willing to manage mealtimes safely. A securely fenced yard is recommended so he can enjoy plenty of play and exercise. If you're looking for an energetic, loyal, and loving companion who will keep you smiling, Marley may be the perfect addition to your home! Our adoption fees cover all up to date veterinary needs, including but not limited to: full veterinary examination, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and parasite prevention, wellness bloodwork, spay or neuter, and microchip.
