Story
This is George around 11 years per lady that re- homed him, owner passed away. I took George in around 10 months ago. He loves to walk and play ball. George is healthy, at the time I took in 3 dogs to save from shelter. I have two small dogs Yorkie and Shitzu who now have illness. I am a senior and developed back issues that need medical attention. George is up to date on all shots. He needs a loving home to live out rest of his life. I regret that I can no longer handle 5 dogs. I cannot afford the upkeep with my own health and my two little sick dogs. George came from Oklahoma and lived with 10 Yorkies and couple other dogs his owner passed away from long illness. George is very mellow and good natured would make a great companion for senior. George is inside dog and cannot be out in heat or cold. George is spoiled and loves to play with my silky terrier whom I adopted around same time. I am hoping someone will give him a good loving home. ❤️

Story
Levi, I adopted Levi about 9 months ago from private owner who had Levi snd a Yorkie. They had a baby and had no time for the dogs anymore. I wanted the Yorkie because I have always had yorkies and one of mine died. The owner adopted out the Yorkie so that left Levi.. I have never had bigger dog but I thought I would try to save him from the shelter. Since then my old Shitzu and little Yorkie got illnesses. I also have a severe back injury and I can’t afford or manage all the dogs. I am 76 years old and I need to find a good home for Levi. The owner said he was 8 when I adopted him so pushing 9 now. He is healthy, loves to walk and would make a good companion for a man or women, couple. Fenced yard preferred. Levi is indoor dog. He has nice crate he sleeps in, and very good with my dogs. I hate to take him to a shelter he has always lived in a nice home. I am in lots of pain with my back and can’t bend without pain. I am praying someone will give him a try. Up to date all shots.

There’s something incredibly special about a shy dog. It’s like being trusted with a secret—once they decide you’re "their person," that bond is unbreakable. Meet BYRON, an 8-month-old Terrier mix with a stunning brindle coat and big, bold splashes of white. 🎨 At 65 lbs, he’s a hefty boy with an even bigger heart 💙 that is blooming like a spring flower. 🌷 After extra TLC from staff and volunteers, Byron has gone from "timid" to "totally charming." He's a great walker and loves to stay close to his human. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, Byron says "Pick Me". ⬇️ He's dog friendly and has been taking "confidence lessons" from his bestie, Hippo. Underneath that shy exterior is a soulful, gentle personality just waiting for a family to love. 🏠 Watching a dog like Byron find his courage is one of the greatest thrills! Want to be part of his journey? BYRON is waiting to meet you at Bastrop County Animal Shelter! 🏠💖🌸🌻

💌 LENNOX.....from Stray to Sweetheart 🐾 Lennox and siblings started their lives on a rough road—literally—found as stray tiny puppies. After spending over 2 months at the shelter, this 5-1/2 month old mystery-breed handsome-man is getting a taste of the good life in foster care! At about 25 lbs, Lennox is a stunning black-and-white "tuxedo boy. He's been busy learning how to be a "real dog," and his foster family says he is crushing it. 🌹 Social: Very outgoing and playful with other dogs (he loves his ball ⚽ too) and has been great with the kids. 🌹 Student: Walks well on a leash, is progressing well with crate and potty training! 🌹 Rare Find: Believe it or not, this guy enjoyed his first bath and did well during his car ride. 🧼🚗 🌹Pro Snuggler: While he is a bit shy at first, he is a world-class cuddler who truly believes he is destined to be a "lap dog". The perfect blend of puppy energy and "sweet-as-sugar" affection, Lennox has waited too long for a family of his own. If you're looking for a partner for walks, playdates and heavy-duty snuggling, Lennox has his paws crossed! What do you think? Is LENNOX the Valentine you've dreamed of? 🏹❤️ He is in foster care, you can submit online application to make contact and meet this boy!! 💖
