Story
Minnie is an 8 month old puppy. She showed up on our property and never left. She already had a collar. We believe she was dumped. She's a sweetheart with tons of puppy energy, but is also a big snuggler. We considered keeping her, but she isn't good with our chickens. She gets along with our other dog, as long as there are no treats one dog has that the other doesn't. She's very interested in my cats, but I haven't really given them the chance to see what kind of interest. She's definitely not having the same prey drive response as she does with the chickens, so I think there could be a potential to teach her to be good with cats. She didn't have any training at all when she showed up, but we've taught her a few things. She's smart, and motivated by treats and praise/affection. We did get her the first round of shots, but she needs the booster. She is very afraid of going in a crate. When there was a bad storm I brought her inside and she slept in the bed with me with no issues.

Story
Levi, I adopted Levi about 9 months ago from private owner who had Levi snd a Yorkie. They had a baby and had no time for the dogs anymore. I wanted the Yorkie because I have always had yorkies and one of mine died. The owner adopted out the Yorkie so that left Levi.. I have never had bigger dog but I thought I would try to save him from the shelter. Since then my old Shitzu and little Yorkie got illnesses. I also have a severe back injury and I can’t afford or manage all the dogs. I am 76 years old and I need to find a good home for Levi. The owner said he was 8 when I adopted him so pushing 9 now. He is healthy, loves to walk and would make a good companion for a man or women, couple. Fenced yard preferred. Levi is indoor dog. He has nice crate he sleeps in, and very good with my dogs. I hate to take him to a shelter he has always lived in a nice home. I am in lots of pain with my back and can’t bend without pain. I am praying someone will give him a try. Up to date all shots.

Story
We got Dani two years ago from a friend who was moving and couldn’t take her. We love her very much. She’s loves to play and she’s protective of our home and family. Unfortunately she does not get along with our other dogs, otherwise we would never let her go.We hope we can find a loving home for Dani that has no other dogs

Meet Shelly 💕 Shelly is an incredibly adorable and affectionate 1.5-year-old terrier mix, weighing just 18 pounds of pure love. She is the definition of a lap dog and thrives on cuddles and companionship. She is also potty trained, making her an easy and wonderful addition to a home. Shelly is currently heartworm positive, BUT she has already begun her treatment with her dedicated foster, and the cost of her care is fully covered for her adopter! She will simply need a committed adopter who can bring her to a few remaining appointments at Emancipet in Austin — a visit in June and two in July — to complete her treatment. Shelly is well on her way to a healthy future, and with just a little follow-through, she will be ready to live a long, happy life. She is absolutely worth it and ready to give endless love to the person or family lucky enough to call her their own.
