Story
We need a new home for Floyd! We don’t have the time for him that he deserves! We have several other dogs that roam the property and he doesn’t get along with one of the other males so we have to keep him locked in the yard. He needs a better situation! He loves playing fetch and jumping in water puddles! He does fine around our kids and is very protective of us. He would make a great guard dog!

Story
Buddy is a good boy who needs a family with the time to spend with him. Unfortunately we had a preemie baby last year who has a lot of doctors appointments and three older kids with sports and other extra curricular activities. We have two cats that he doesn’t mind or bother, but loves when one plays with him. He does not like his nails trimmed, so while he’s up to date on his vaccines, we have to give him a mild sedative prescribed by a vet to get just a couple at a time. Other than that, he’s a very sweet and loving boy who just needs more attention than we can give him. Will provide vet records, a large kennel (he is crate trained but also ok left alone), all the food we have for him and the storage container, collar, leash and anything else we have for him.

Story
We adopted Portia from the Georgetown Animal Shelter in 2015 . She is a 10 year old Golden Shepherd, we were told that she was house trained, we learned that she was not. She's been through a full training class and knows her basic commands. We adopted our second dog not too long after that, about 4 months ago Portia attacked Orion for what seemed like no reason, at that point we separated them and a few weeks later when we tried to reintroduce them she attacked him again within 5 minutes. She's never been aggressive towards our other puppy or towards any people. She was diagnosed with severe Separation Anxiety just recently. We don't know what triggers her aggression towards our other dog but would like to see her in an active home with lots of love, attention and patience, where there's no other dogs or children until her triggers can be determined. She's a very sweet dog though, loves to give hugs and kisses and has a lot of life left in her, she LOVES to run and cuddle up to you.

Story
Lola (brown with white, 18.6lbs) is a sweet beauty. She has been fostered in a home where she has spent much of her time inside and loves lap time. She has met chickens, cats, and pony with no negative behavior. This litter of 4 girls was born 3-25-23. The daddy is a chihuahua/Dauschund mix and the mother is a big bully breed mix. These puppies are gentle and social, smart, and not going to be large. They have learned to kennel, house training is a work in progress that their new families need to take seriously since these girls are still learning and need patience and help getting it right. Weight listed is from the day pup was spayed on 9-6-23, she will likely not exceed 35-40lbs. Story
Meet Bindi, a dog with a heart as big as her personality. After being abandoned, she found her way to a barn, scared, malnourished, and limping from a bullet in her leg the vet was able to remove. She has since recovered beautifully!!  She's a gentle soul, always ready with a friendly wag of her tail. Independent and brave, Bindi navigates her world with a quiet confidence that is truly inspiring. Her intelligence shines through in her quick learning and problem-solving skills. But don't let her independence fool you, Bindi loves nothing more than a good cuddle session. Her loyalty is unwavering, she's the kind of dog who would walk to the ends of the earth for her human. Bindi's sweet nature and cuddly personality make her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal, loving friend. Bindi likes kids and other dogs, and has learned to tolerate cats.  She does, however, play too hard with the chickens.  Adopt Bindi and gain not just a pet, but a true friend for life. Bindi is a 5-6 year old, spayed and vaccinated pitty who is in good health and heartworm negative. She is good with kids, cats and dog. Not good with chickens. Currently, she is being fostered in Giddings. If you are interested in learning more about Bindi, please fill out our online application here: https://forms.gle/fXPLCeGhpAxvu7Ws8 .
