We adopted Maverick in July from Texas Humane Heroes in Leander, and he has quickly made himself known as the fun-loving, energetic puppy that he is! Maverick is currently 6 months old and is full of personality, curiosity, and puppy energy.He is playful, affectionate, and very personable. He loves attention and enjoys being around people and other animals. He’s the kind of puppy who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing and is happiest when he has someone to interact with, play with, or simply be near. He has a goofy, endearing personality that makes him hard not to love.As a young puppy, Maverick is still learning his manners and will need a family who understands that puppies require patience, consistency, exercise, and training. He would thrive in a home with plenty of space to explore and burn off his energy, along with someone willing to continue working with him as he grows into the wonderful adult dog he is meant to be.

Olive is a ~3 year-old, medium-sized (around 65-70lbs) red brindle Boxer/Pit Bull mix with the sweetest, most loving personality. She’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and happiest when she’s cuddled up next to her people, going for walks, playing fetch, riding along in the car, or sunbathing in the morning. She’s great with adults and kids and has never shown any aggression toward humans.**She MUST be the only dog in the home—no other dogs whatsoever.** She would do best with an active individual or family who can give her attention, structure, and space to run (a backyard is ideal). She’s perfectly fine staying home during the day (I worked in the office 3x a week) and was always great—never chewing furniture or destroying anything. We’ve invested about $1.7k into professional training, and she knows commands like sit, place, quiet, and come. She is crate trained, potty trained, and truly has so much love to give—she just needs the right environment to thrive.

Story

I had made a profile for Toby a few months ago but none of the applicants reached back out nor wanted to go through with the adoption. He just needs an experienced owner or at least someone who cares for an animal unconditionally. My family situation does not suit his needs at all and I want to give him to a stable family . A better family that deserves him. He’s a shy little guy with nothing but love to offer .It may take him some time to warm up but trust me , he will get there quicker if peanut butter is involved .He’ll rub on your foot when his back is itchy and he’ll sit against your door if he knows you’re in there and he’s feeling a little lonely .He is currently in wraps for his urinating issue but was told he had no health issues causing it . He has a thing with spritzing urine instead of just peeing a few times out of the day. I tried my best potty training but my work schedule didn’t align well with his . I work nights most of the week and I can see he needs more support

Meet Buster! This is incredibly hard for me to post, but I’m looking for the right home for a very sweet pit mix who deserves a family that will love him as much as he’ll love them. He is genuinely the sweetest boy. He’s friendly with kids, leaves cats alone, and has the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. He’s happy to play and have fun, but he also loves just hanging out and relaxing with his people. I would prefer he be the only dog as he can be protective and territorial. He is fixed and up to date on vaccines.

Smart and trainable. Good with and protective of children and home. Dislikes physical violence of person against person. Needs exercise. Large yard or pasture would be perfect. Has run out door, but has always come back. Scared of lightening. Enjoys snuggling in bed at night. Dislikes crates and cages, but will enter with encouragement and treats. He has snapped and growled at our 1 year old, but does great with older kids like our 11 and 12 year old.
