Story
It is with pleasure that I introduce you to Sabina (affectionately known as Bina-girl or Sabiner)! Despite her fierce appearance, this long-haired beauty is a total sweetheart and has become a bestie to all to know her. She came to TCPR as one of three cats left behind when someone moved out. Since being in the comfort of a foster home, Sabina has become a window-watcher or nap-taker by day, and an avid hunter/chaser by night. With the curiosity that precedes all cat-kind, she eagerly explores new environments and has proven herself as quite clever. Once she deems you as a friend, prepare for a companionship that is second to none. If she sees an empty spot on the couch or bed, she will join you, but don't count on her hopping into your lap. She seems to dislike being picked up, but she gladly accepts cheek scratches from the first free hand she can find! Sabina can be a bit of a drama queen with her food. She seems to like chicken flavored kibble and vocally requests wet food at meal times. Most recently, she has thrived in a quiet foster home where she is the only pet. She is OK with other cats and dogs, but needs a slow introduction and comfort/reassurance from a befriended human if meeting other pets, given her recent quiet environment. Sabina is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
My name is Jason! I am a beautiful and majestic young man, born on 4/30 in Alabama. I came up to MN with my brother Ryan to find a home here in the Midwest. Foster mom says I am the softest kitty she has ever had. I get along great with cats, and although I don't have direct experience with dogs, I am a young and easy going guy, so should be able to do just fine with lots of types of animals. I also got lots of attention from the kids in my foster home who are 4 and 2 years old, and I was very friendly and polite to them! Foster mom was proud of me since I was a young kitten when I was living with them. I have typical kitten energy, but also like to snuggle and be held. I am adventurous and curious, but also know how to relax. I really like doing things with my brother Ryan, like playing, cleaning each other, and snuggling. We are a perfect pair! I will do best in a family with another young cat, or being adopted with my brother would be great! Since I am young and adventurous, I will do best in a home that can adjust the environment slightly for me while I continue to learn about living with a family. For example, I am curious about potted plants! I hope you will consider welcoming me into your family this year! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Wilson is a happy, chill, 4-month-old kitten who loves cuddles, kids, dogs, and cat friends alike. He's a playful kitten who loves all types of companions and he can't wait to find his forever home! He’s a social, go-with-the-flow guy, and is happy being near his people or his pet friends. He'll make a toy out of anything and loves his naps just as much as his playtime. Wilson can often be found reading with his 5-year-old human, trying to get our big dog to play, or wrestling with his kitty siblings. He loves wet food and crunchy treats alike. Just like any kitten, this little panther needs room to run, but he loves to nap just as much as he loves to zoom around. Wilson currently lives in a two-story house with a 5- and an 8-year-old, a large (65-pound) dog, 2 adult cats, and 3 other foster kittens. He adores our large dog, likes to play with him, and does great with young kids too. Our 5-year-old loves to carry him around like a baby and he purrs the whole time. Wilson loves everyone and everyone loves him! Wilson would thrive in any home as long as there is plenty of interaction and playtime. He's outgoing and enjoys everyone; he would love to have dog, cat, and young human friends. He will need to go home with one of his kitten siblings, or to a home with an active young resident cat to help show him the ropes. He is a joy to have and such an easy kitten! Come meet the adorable Wilson today. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Story
Otto is a 2-year-old cuddle bug looking for someone to shadow all day long! And you’re in luck, because this snuggly boy is on the hunt for his very own forever home!Plain and simply, Otto ADORES humans. He doesn’t like closed doors and prefers to have you in his sights at all times! That doesn’t mean he’s high maintenance though, and is perfectly fine being left alone during the day and napping. He prefers to nap on laps and be allowed into the bedroom at night, but is also learning it’s ok to have his alone time, too.Otto loves doing laps for his morning zoomie time. He’s overall calm throughout the day and is always down for playtime but otherwise is a sleepy boy! He loves to sing (howl) when his humans are in different room. For playtime, he loves all types of toys and can entertain himself in a cat tunnel, with cat siblings, or with a wand toy or cat laser. He’s respectful of human belongings and finds ways to keep busy.Otto currently lives with two foster parents and a cat foster brother. His fosters believe he could thrive in a variety of homes, including an apartment or families with children. He does require a more active home to wear out some of his energy, and one that provides plenty of love!Overall, Otto is the definition of a sweet and lovable cat. His affectionate and social demeanor makes him the perfect addition to just about any home. So, if you’re looking for a snuggle buddy to cuddle up to this holiday season and beyond, look no further, Otto is the perfect boy for you! Story
Stewart is a 8 year old cuddle bug looking for his forever home!Stewart loves his humans and will follow you around the house to keep you company! He enjoys a good nap on the couch (especially when snuggling). You’ll always know when he’s happy since he has quite the loud rumbling purr!Stewart is fairly low energy and is trying to lose some weight, so he needs some encouragement to move around. He is very well behaved! He enjoys playing with toys on a string and toy mice! He will play then sit on his toys once he gets tired. He also LOVES being brushed! This chunky boy currently lives in a home with 2 adult humans. Stewart would do great with a family who can help promote exercise and play while also giving the best snuggles around. You may notice his mid section is shaved. When Stew came into care, he was so overweight he couldn’t properly groom himself. He was shaved to make himself more comfortable. The good news is that Stewart has responded incredibly well to his weight loss regime! He has already lost 7 lbs since being in foster care! His goal is to continue to shed his weight at a rate of 1 pound per month. He’ll need to be adopted into a home that plans on continuing to promote Stew boy’s healthy lifestyle. Stewart can get nervous with large groups but comes around pretty quickly! We think he would do great with cat-savvy children but unsure how he would feel about dogs.Overall, this chunky boy is looking for a home where he can cuddle and snuggle his favorite people while also moving his body several times during the day! He’s such a happy-go-lucky boy who would make a welcomed addition to most any home!---------------Stewart is having a dental procedure done on 12/10. He will be ready to move to his forever home after his procedure. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Story
Constance (mom - 4 years old) and her 1-year-old children, Conrad and Caroline (littermates) are beautiful, sweet, and affectionate cats looking for their forever home! Mama Constance is a sweet, quiet girl. She's very tolerant and laid back. Baby Face Caroline is like her mom: sweet and chill. To mix things up, Lover Boy Conrad is very outgoing and affectionate. Together, they are a lovely trio! Mama Constance's favorite thing to do is take a nap! She loves a quiet, dark, cozy space; covered beds are her favorite! Baby Face Caroline loves to snuggle and watch what's going on outside from the comfort of a cat tree! Lover Boy Conrad loves joining the resident clowder for joint treat time, curling up with his person in bed or on the couch and getting allllll the pet-pets and belly scratches. He also loves to play with his sister and bat catnip toys around the house. The girls are pretty laid back and low energy. Baby Face Caroline will play with her brother if he wants to play. Con Man is a young dude—he'll play when he gets the chance and loves following his person around, but he's also an expert napper. These pretty kitties are currently living in a townhome with their foster mom, a small senior dog, and a chill clowder of old lady resident cats. These sweeties do great with my elderly dog and the other felines; they haven’t met any children yet. These cuties would make a great addition to any home. They are loving, cute, and so much fun. Because of their incredibly soft and silky hair (they are part Norwegian Forest Cat,) they'll need to be brushed regularly. I just want to point out that they all have the most majestic ear wispies. They are all amazing in their own way: Conrad is the big man with the biggest mittens, Caroline is the sweetie with the permanent eyeliner, ad Constance is the beauty with the spotted coat. If you’re ready to give a truly lovely family a happy home together, why not go big this holidays season and ring in the new year with a truly tremendous trio. Constance, Caroline, and Conrad are so excited to give you hours of fun and playful joy! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Story
Coral is a 1.5-year-old, affectionate gal looking for her forever home and forever humans! This striking gal loves spending time with her humans. She will follow them around the apartment, hang out with them on the couch, and even rest her head on their shoulders while napping. When her humans are home and she does not have access to them, she will make it known vocally that this situation needs to change ASAP! She is very affectionate and loves cuddling—she especially likes to sleep on her humans or right next to them at night. Coral enjoys resting in her low-to-the-ground cat tree. Since she doesn't seem to have a big vertical leap, having low-to-the-ground cat trees or other stepping blocks would be very beneficial in her forever home, enabling her to still enjoy the views even if things are too high for her to reach. Coral is not the most active feline but will play when she wants. She enjoys taking some time out of her day to play with the stuffed mouse, ball, or other toys she has access to. She can also entertain herself when she wants to play. When playtime is over, you’ll spot her sleeping in her cat tree or other cozy places in the apartment. Coral currently resides in an apartment with two humans and the resident cat. Coral and the resident cat do not get along, so they are separated 100% of the time. This pretty lady’s ideal home would be a single-pet household (i.e. her!) with many toys and low areas for her to climb and rest/sit on. She would like her humans to be easily accessible when they are home, as she loves spending time with them; she does well with adults and is good with cat-savvy kids. People who work from home or are around frequently would be a perfect setup for this charming gal. If you’d like to add some feline fun and affection to your home this winter, please consider adding the beautiful Itty Bitty Coral to your family!
