She’s a little timid at first, but once she feels safe and gets to know you, her very sweet personality starts to shine. Hazel was surrendered by her owners when they couldn’t take care of her anymore. They tried to euthanize her for urinary issues, without looking into what could help her. I work at a vet clinic, so when her owners brought her in to euthanize, I offered to rehabilitate her instead.Doesn’t like other cats, as she was bullied and attacked by her previous siblings in the house.Front paw declawed. (So she can’t fight back)WAS overweight, however with time and patience we have her on a weight management food to help her. And she has lost a lot of weight!Once I brought her into my home, she didn’t have any accidents! I got her a “senior” litter box that she can access easily. And she has been doing really good!Very loving, food motivated and cuddly. Wants attention 24/7. Misty is a 10-year-old, affectionate tabby girl looking for her forever home!This pretty girl absolutely loves people and warms up very quickly. She enjoys being petted and held, while staying close to her humans. She is quite chatty, often meowing softly to talk to you. This lovely lady is a calm and affectionate companion who would love to spend her days relaxing and keeping you company.Misty has a moderate energy level and is usually more active in the evenings. She enjoys her breakfast and then likes to rest for most of the day. Around 4 to 5 pm, she starts waking up and looks for some attention or light playtime before settling in again for the night. This fluffy stripey lady is currently living in a one-bedroom apartment with one human and no other animals. She has not met any other dogs, cats, or children to date.Misty's ideal home would be one where people work from home and/or are around more often, as she loves companionship and spending time with her humans. She enjoys watching the world outside and will happily sit by the window observing people come and go.Misty has early-stage renal disease, so she drinks A LOT of water. As a result, her litter box will need to be cleaned fairly often. Since she has longer fur, she can sometimes get a bit of litter stuck on her, so occasional wiping may be needed. Cookie Monster is a 17 year old cat looking for her forever home!Cookie Monster is a very sweet fluffy ball who is very young at heart. She may be on the conservative side of establishing full trust, but when she does, she is the constant companion and playmate! She sleeps right next to her foster mom at night and seeks out frequent attention and affection. She LOVES playing! She enjoys swatting and chasing strings or pouncing on little catnip mice! Her favorite game is hide and seek and loves to lure her foster mom into frequent games throughout the day taking breaks for naps in between. Sam is an eight year old, calm and affectionate boy looking for his forever home!Sam’s got quite the regal look and he knows it! He loves to lounge on the tallest spot in the room. Sam likes to spend the day in whatever room his people are in, on the closest flat surface where he can stretch out to his full magnificent length and present his belly for pets. He also enjoys napping in cozy spots, like under an armchair or in his travel carrier (as long as it's full of blankets). This big boy absolutely loves to be brushed, particularly on his chin and his belly. He enjoys playing as an ambush predator: chasing string toys through tunnels and around corners. Luckily, Sam completely understands that toys are for playing and hands and feet are only for cuddling. Sam likes to show off his impressive height by stretching as far as he can along walls and doorframes, he has a particular fascination with mirrors and will sometimes try and dig through to his reflection. Sam is a very diligent biscuit maker, and his ideal set up is to lay right along your side with a blanket under his paws for biscuits and your arm/hand/foot as his pillow. He is a very affectionate cat and does not like to be separated from his people when they're still at home, and will cry at closed doors, otherwise he's not especially vocal. However, he doesn't seem to experience any separation anxiety when he's alone in the house. He really is the perfect boy, ideal for someone who wants a solo cat.Sam is mostly content to lounge around, but he'll engage in short bouts of playtime when he feels like it! He especially enjoys chasing wand toys and when he wants to play independently he'll enjoy kicking his catnip filled banana toy. He likes to sleep as late as his humans do, and he'll take himself off to bed if his people stay up later than he wants to. He loves to run up and flop over for belly rubs whenever you get up to move about the house.Sam is currently living in an apartment with one person. He has free roam of the space and has been non destructive, hasn't eaten houseplants, and has made no escape attempts. His only demand — a large litterbox! He’s a large boy and requires the extra room to be comfortable!Sam’s ideal home would be one where he can be the only cat in the house. He loves to hang out with his humans and would much prefer if he didn’t have to battle for attention! Lady Grey and Matilda are a pair of affectionate sisters looking to share their love. They are around 2 years old with brilliant yellow eyes, velvety fur, and absurdly long whiskers. Whether they're playing, napping, or eagerly awaiting your attention, these sweet girls will make your world a little brighter every day. Like many siblings, their personalities complement each other well. Lady Grey is a classic younger sister: frequently in motion, playful and outgoing, a goofball who can turn anything into a toy. A few months older (likely the previous litter) and formerly a momma, Matilda is calm and solid with a wide face and a soft squishy belly. If this was Avatar, Lady Grey would be an Air Bender and Matilda would be an Earth Bender. While her sister can be immediately befriended, Matilda needs a little patience and reassurance to build trust. Initially you will find her quietly sitting just out of touch and observing you. But before you know it, she’ll be next to you curled up with Lady Grey, enjoying a TV show or book with you.Lady Grey and Matilda both love spending time in their cat tree, cuddling on every soft surface, giving each other baths, and racing around the house together. They love laser pointers and cat nip. While not territorial, they are very food motivated, which means they will have unwavering loyalty to anyone who gives them meals and treats!Lady Grey and Matilda are both great with their litter box, have never tried to scratch their fosters, eat well, and keep each other entertained. While in PetHavens' care, they have been staying at a 1.5 bedroom apartment in Minneapolis with one foster parent and two resident cats. They have gotten along great with both of the resident cats, often playing all together. While they do not have experience with children or dogs, they can still be adopted by family with them as long as they can support Matilda's need to settle in at her own pace. It is very likely they would do excellent in a house with kids, especially because they are very patient while still playful. Their ideal home has space for two large cats to play and explore, someone home at least once a day, and humans who happily commit to loving them for the rest of their lives.
