Story

Zoey is a beautiful black cat that is 12 years old. I’ve had her since she was a kitten and as our family has grown…dogs and a child, she has become unhappy. She likes to keep to herself and needs someone willing to let her warm up to them. Her front claws are declawed. She can be feisty and may hiss when she doesn’t want your attention/pets and will remove herself. Once she’s warmed up to you, she can be quite the affectionate cat. She does fine with our small dogs but does get annoyed if they chase her/bother her. Same with our toddler. She would do well with a quiet home and a patient adopter. She uses her litter box well but since a recent move has been spraying on occasion which is something she didn’t do before. It’s a larger home with one litter box which could be a factor. She likes to sleep by your pillow at night and doesn’t want to be shut out of the bedroom and will meow. She’s a quiet cat unless she’s hungry and will let you know. I really hope she can find a happy home.

I got Chai from a farm in July of 2023. I’m unsure of her exact birthday but she is around 1 years old. She has had her first round of shots (due for her second) and was just spayed in March. She is very playful and the most affectionate cat I have ever had. She LOVES to snuggle and have her face rubbed. She does not scratch anything other than her cat tree (so your furniture is safe around her lol). She has lived with our chocolate lab since we got her and she does okay around him but is still a little scared around him so she would fit best with someone that does not own any dogs. She does good around my 1.5 year old daughter but is very playful so she occasionally scratches her unintentionally. She needs lots of attention and affection.

Born in a home and raised by his loving young mama with 3 siblings, Damien is outgoing, playful, and very tuned into his people. He's a cuddle bug with a big motor, and his favorite past times include watching birds out the window, wrestling with his siblings, and rolling around on the ground chasing that snake-like thing attached to his bum.  Damien is looking for his forever home - he's 10 weeks old, just over 2 lbs, and will do great in an active environment - he MUST have another young kitty buddy to be active and play with - no matter how much his people are home!  Kittens do so much better in pairs, socially and developmentally! They have a playmate and cuddle buddy, even when their humans are gone. For this reason, our rescue does not adopt out single kittens, to homes without another cat(s).  Interested in adopting?
