Story
Donna is a beautiful silver/gray tabby, with the most gorgeous emerald green eyes you've ever seen. She is about 5+ years old. She was living a sad life with no frills until her owner passed away. When we rescued her, she was just a scared girl who went from hiding under a blanket all the time - to basking in attention. She loves to be pet and brushed, and looks forward to bonding time with someone who can make her feel important and make up for lost time. Her energy level is low - medium. She would be perfectly happy as a couch potato with moderate playtime for exercise and engagement. If you are looking for a sweet, companion who likes to lounge, then Donna may be the one for you. She is shy at first and will need someone who can help her settle in, but once she warms up she can't get enough of the one-on-one. This beautiful gal has waited a long time to have the love and home she deserves. She would prefer to be an only pet, and will do best in a calm, quiet environment where she can lounge to her heart's content, watch out the windows, and feel special to someone who loves her.

Skipper & Gilligan — A Gentle Bonded Pair With Big HeartsSkipper and Gilligan are a bonded pair who came to Macomb County Animal Control when their previous owner could no longer care for them. The change in their lives was overwhelming at first, but they have leaned on one another for reassurance and comfort. Because of this strong connection, they are looking for a forever home where they can stay together and continue their close companionship. These two sweethearts can be shy when meeting new people or exploring new environments. They tend to take things slowly and appreciate a calm, predictable setting as they settle in. With a little patience and understanding, their true personalities begin to shine through. Once they feel safe, Skipper and Gilligan enjoy gentle affection, soft blankets, and cozy spots where they can relax side-by-side. They are also quietly curious and like to observe household activities from the comfort of a secure space.Skipper and Gilligan would do best in a low-traffic, peaceful home with adopters who are willing to let them adjust at their own pace. They have not lived with dogs, so a cat-only household would likely be the best match. They may do well with respectful children over the age of 10 who understand how to interact gently with shy animals. If you’re looking for a loving duo who will bring warmth, companionship, and a special bond into your home, Skipper and Gilligan may be the perfect fit. With time and patience, they will reward you with trust, affection, and the quiet joy that only a bonded pair can provide. If you are interested in adopting, Macomb County Animal Control is open M-F from 10am-4pm.Adoption fee for this delightful duo is $50

Story
Yes… his name is Trouble, and no, it’s not a coincidence. Trouble is a 7-month-old male cat who has fully embraced his title and wears it like a badge of honor. If something is climbing, chasing, pouncing, or mysteriously ending up on the floor, chances are Trouble was “helping.”Despite his mischievous reputation, Trouble is an absolute charmer. He’s curious, energetic, and always on a mission—usually one he made up himself. At 7 months old, he’s in peak kitten mode, meaning zoomies, playful chaos, and endless entertainment are all included at no extra charge. When Trouble isn’t busy causing (adorable) mayhem, he enjoys attention and companionship. He has a sweet side that comes out during cuddle breaks, naps, and moments when he finally runs out of energy. He’s the perfect mix of playful troublemaker and lovable goofball.Trouble would thrive in a home that appreciates his humor, can keep up with his antics, and doesn’t mind a little laughter along the way. Toys, enrichment, and a sense of humor are highly recommended. Life with Trouble will never be boring—and honestly, that’s the best part.If you’re looking for a cat who will keep you laughing, guessing, and smiling every single day, Trouble is ready to move in and live up to his nameI am available at:Pet Supplies Plus42241 Garfield Rd,Clinton Township, MI 48038(586)228-0090My adoption fee is $100

Story
This posting is for 2 cats. Raven was about 4-5 months old when i got her. We did not know she was pregnant before hand and she had exactly one kitten a month after having her in our home. They love to play and snuggle with eachother all the time! Raven eats dry food while Snow prefers wet food and milk. Both are easy loving cats who only want love and attention. Unfortunately my work schedule on top of my 3 kids schedules have become very time consuming so i just want them to have a family who can meet their needs. I did put a little starter kit together just incase its needed as well. I can be contacted via txt more easily. (231)970-8064

Story
Pipsqueak is a darling little kitten with soft medium-length fur and the prettiest dusting of white hairs sprinkled throughout her black coat, like tiny stars in a night sky. At about five months old, she’s still learning that the world is a safe and loving place—and she’s making quiet, brave progress every day.She may be shy at first, but once Pipsqueak feels comfortable, her sweet nature shines through. She enjoys gentle affection, calm voices, and cozy hiding spots where she can observe before joining in. With patience and love, she blossoms into a tender companion who will reward you with trust, soft purrs, and those heart-melting slow blinks.Pipsqueak came into rescue because her owner could no longer care for her, through no fault of her own. She’s ready for a peaceful home that will give her the time and kindness she needs to feel safe and cherished. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to nurture and love, Pipsqueak may be the perfect little companion for you.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100.
