Story
Litten was born as a stray at my boyfriend’s friend’s house, and I took him in when he was very young. He was a very scared little one, and I just let him do his thing to get comfortable in my place. I have a large breed dog that he adores with all his heart. I recently moved in with my boyfriend who also has two cats. They absolutely despise him. So they do not get along when he wants to play, and they try to beat him up when he is just laying there. But they also cuddle and sleep with each other. So it’s a love hate relationship. He is the most behaved out of the three cats. He listens when I tell hime no. He just likes to dig in dirt. He greets me every morning upon getting up, wakes me up if I’m up in time, sends me off to work or wherever I’m going, and just wants to be near me and chill. He is a super sweet boy, my boyfriend just hates him and I’m no longer allowed to have him here. He loves toys, even dog toys, so he’s easy to entertain. And loves watching bird videos.

Story
Hi everyone, my name is Ares and I am the most handsome, black-and-white, neutered male cat. This is my best friend Athena and she is a beautiful, spayed female, tabby cat. We have never been apart. We do absolutely everything together and we hope to find a home where we get to stay best friends for life. Besides, cats are always better in pairs. I am super playful. I love interactive toys that move and have lights. I have crazy fun with them and I will entertain you with my silly antics. Athena is very confident. She uses vertical scratching posts while I use horizontal ones. Athena prefers to be a lapcat, soaking up the warmth and cuddles. We are both friendly, affectionate, playful and litter box trained. Apply today and prepare to bring home two bundles of love to make your family complete for the holidays. Adopt a pair: $115. Story
Hi, my name is Sandy, I`m approximately 11 weeks old and came to Macomb County Animal Control with my litter mate Danny after we were found abandoned in a box and a kind resident brought us in. We are now in search of our furever homes. We are both a little shy at first and may need a little extra time to get adjusted to our new home and family, but once we are comfortable, you`ll see how sweet, playful and curious we are.We should be fine in a home with children of all ages as long as we are properly supervised. We have never lived with dogs, so if you have one, slow and proper introductions are necessary. If you are interested in meeting me, my brother or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm. To help speed up the adoption process, it is suggested that you complete the online application found at the link below.https://animalcontrol.macombgov.org/AnimalControl-AdoptionApplicationMy adoption fee is $100

Story
Hi, my name is Margo, I`m approximately 4 years old and came to Macomb County Animal Control after a kind resident found me in the cold. I was really scared and had a lot of mats on my back that needed to be shaved off.I`m still pretty scared here, I find comfort in hiding under my blankets, but what I`d really like is a home of my very own, where I never have to be scared and will get all the love and attention I deserve.Seeing that I`m kind of on the shy side, I would do best in a dog free home with children over the age of 10 who should meet me prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm. Hi, my name is Autumn, I`m approximately 8 years old and currently weigh just about 7#. I came to Macomb County Animal Control and was never reclaimed by my previous owner. The staff here gave me my name in celebration of the fall season that is now upon us, and it`s a great time of the year to welcome me into your home!I am a very quiet and easy going girl who is four-paw-declawed, I enjoy being petted and will seek you out for attention. I may need some extra time to adjust to my new home and surroundings, so please be patient with me as this may take a little time.I should be fine in a home with children of all ages as long as we are properly supervised. I have not had the opportunity to interact with any dogs since being here, so if you have one, please do slow and proper introductions. If you are interested in meeting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.
