Lucy is a wonderful cat who loves people and dogs. She has converted multiple friends who did not like cats into cat people. She has had two different full size dogs who have been siblings to her (Yellow Lab and AmStaff/Pit mix). I have had Lucy since 2015. She was about 18 months old then, and she was being used as a "test cat" for new dogs who entered the shelter to tell how well they got along with cats. After a recent divorce and move, Lucy is sharing a small space with two other cats and it is just not going well for her. She is in perfect health, but ideally needs to have her "own" human that she does not share with other cats. She is a perfect cat for someone who has little or no experience with cats or for someone with a dog or two as long as they can be trained to "leave it" and not chase her. She is excellent at not acting like prey with dogs, and she honestly loves dogs. If this situation fits you, please reach out! I love my cat and want her to have the best home possible.

This is my sweet girl Kikio. She is 10 years old and will be 11 early 2024. My brother brought her home it was July 2013. She’s my ride or die. We have been thru everything together. But she does not like my 19 mo old daughter. She doesn’t have a good history with kids either. She needs a lot of attention and cuddles and time as she’s older now! I unfortunately can’t keep up with her. And she’s sent my daughter to the ER at least 3 times. Both my daughter and kikio deserve to be in safe environments where they feel comfortable and at home! I’m searching for someone who has the time and patience and love to give my lil old lady. it breaks my heart to do this. But I know someone out there can provide a better environment for her to live freely and not feel the need to be violent. I’m hoping she’ll land in good hands. We adopted sweet Birdie from a neighbor. My 5 year old resident kitties have not accepted her into our home. After discussing with a pet behaviorist, we have decided that rehoming Birdie is for the best. She would love another energetic kitten to play with! She has tons of energy and definitely misses her siblings from her litter. We have her scheduled for her spay on 11/27 and are more than happy to prepay for that service.
