Story
Her mom was 100% feral, when her mom had her babies I kept care of them until I could find them suitable homes. Ive had her since no one wanted her, but now it’s become too much. She is pretty anxious and deserves a better environment. She’s become good aggressive and needs to be spayed, I can’t afford to give her that peace she needs.

Story
Hello! My name is David. I am a ‘working cat' which means that I may not be suited for the life of a house cat, but I would love to have a job in exchange for care, food, and shelter. Adoption fees are waived for working cats like me! Do you need help with rodent control at your house, barn, garden, warehouse, or garage? Working cats are dependable, effective, and utterly cute workers! Working cats can be an eco-friendly, humane alternative to pest management. Working cats are premier rodent managers! Although not suited for housecat life, if you keep a working cat happy and healthy, they may become more affectionate over time. These cats need food, water, protection from the elements, and long-term care. You can come by the shelter or email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org for more information about adopting a working cat.

Story
Hi, my name is Milo and I am in foster care with my best buddy, Kira. We have lived together and love to share a bed. My foster says I can be sassy but once I get pets, I become friends quickly. The shelter is a scary place for us, so we are in foster care until adoption day! Want to know more? Please email the front desk at frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org for more information.

Story
Minnow is a cat that needs to be in a quiet pet/small child free home. She was originally a rescue and we have been her second family for 2.5 years. We rescued a mama cat and kitten this past December and Minnow hasn't accepted them at all. She is a nervous cat that is scared of everything but will become attached to one person and be very sweet to them after much coaching and understanding. I want her to live the peaceful life that she craves and become the pampered house cat that I know she wants to become. She is very food motivated and loves to sit in the window and watch the world and hog the heat vents in the winter.

Story
This is my sweet girl Kikio. She is 10 years old and will be 11 early 2024. My brother brought her home it was July 2013. She’s my ride or die. We have been thru everything together. But she does not like my 19 mo old daughter. She doesn’t have a good history with kids either. She needs a lot of attention and cuddles and time as she’s older now! I unfortunately can’t keep up with her. And she’s sent my daughter to the ER at least 3 times. Both my daughter and kikio deserve to be in safe environments where they feel comfortable and at home! I’m searching for someone who has the time and patience and love to give my lil old lady. it breaks my heart to do this. But I know someone out there can provide a better environment for her to live freely and not feel the need to be violent. I’m hoping she’ll land in good hands. Please message me with serious inquiries only. I appreciate your time!

Hey all! I am looking to rehome two loving sister cats! (Chocolate and Hazel) I’ve had them ever since my ex left and after his roommate just left them.. i had them over a year now .. i love them so much but i never intended on having cats before this and i want to find them a good loving home Preferably without kids. Please be nice because this is so hard for me to do as to why i kept them for so long but i just recently had to move and it’s not fair where i live now because they can’t go outside and sunbathe and explore my yard anymore since i moved into an apartment now. They are both fixed.

Story
Tree is not spayed or microchipped. She has a gentle and loving personality but is shy and will take a while for her to warm up to you. Tree is an indoor cat and enjoys lounging around in windows and scratching posts. She can be introduced to other cats but will need some time to adjust to them.

Story
Winnie was born in the summer of 2021, she has a twin sister named Willow who she lives with currently. They’re both needing to go to loving homes. They get along great, Winnie is known for being the more submissive of the two. She loves food time and love on her terms! She enjoys having some attention but tends to be a lazy girl. You’ll find her sleeping most of the day, or checking out what her human is doing. She’s such a sweet loving and soft kitty! Both kittens grew up in a home of only young adults and every so often dogs and children were present. These kittens are used to a quiet home, but never had any issues with attacking dogs or children. They choose to hangout in their bedroom when others come over, until they warm up. I’d prefer these kittens stay together as they were born together and haven’t been separated since. They’re so loved and we’re heartbroken we can’t keep these sweet girls, hoping someone can love them just as much!

These pups are in Auburn, Washington too!

Story
Finnagan is in need of a new loving home. He is a lovey and cuddly guy when he's not curled up on his cat tree! He does wonderful with children and gets along with other cats! A dog free home is recommended and he did suffer an accident that forced the removal of a rear leg. He has also been diagnosed with diabetes but that doesn't slow him down! He does require a special diet and insulin injections due to his Diabetes.
