Story
Jaxx and Chiquita are bonded litter mates. Jaxx is M and Chiquita is F. They can often be found sitting with eachother, purring and making muffins on eachother's belly. They are both quick to purr when approached. These two have the most beautiful and exotic coloring. Jaxx has gorgeous white lined eyes and Chiquita has unusual markings of orange and brown. The coloring is not common and the pictures don't do her justice. Jaxx is more outgoing and loves to have his face kissed. He also enjoys walking across the laptop keyboard while you're working so he can give you head butts and tail floofs. He's a great addition to any Zoom call! Chiquita is more of a watcher. She wants to be in a place where she can see what is going on, and will engage when she knows it is safe. They love to play and romp around together happily! They are just getting their big cat teeth so they are about 5+ months old. Their purrsonalities are developing every day! They have been spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, been dewormed, flea treated, and are microchipped. They will be best suited for a more quiet home without a lot of chaos, where they will be inside cats. You can visit them in their foster home prior to adoption. Submit an online application at rainrescue-wa.org and go to the adopt tab or fill out a paper application in the store. Their adoption fee is $400 for the pair. Story
Bella is a sweet cat who likes a familiar caregiver and environment. She enjoys peacefully napping throughout the day and cuddling with her person when she can. Bella does not like to be bothered by other animals or small children. We are looking for a quiet home where she can thrive. Our growing family is becoming too hectic for her. She prefers two litter boxes, loves a window perch to watch the birds outside, and doesn’t like to mingle with new guests. She will probably take some time to warm up to her new environment and family. We will send her with all the supplies we have if you want them (cat tree, litter box, food and water bowl, window bed ext) we are sad to let her go but we know she will do better with a family who doesn’t have so much going on and more time to love on her.

Story
Leo was given to me by a co-worker. His skin was in terrible condition and he was thin. I got him the medical treatment he needed but I am not able to keep him. He is about 2 years old. I am looking for a loving forever home for him. He is cuddly and energetic. He takes a little while to warm up to new people and other cats but once he does he loves them with his whole heart.

Story
I got Glenda and her brother Gaz in 2015 from the Feral Cat Program. They were skittish at first but slowly warmed up to me. They are sweet and love to be pet as long as you don't try and pick them up. They prefer to be outside and still love to hunt so would be great barn cats or mousers. I'd prefer for them to go to a home together. I've had kids since I got them and have had trouble getting them to the vet (it is an ordeal to get them in the crate since they don't like to be held and are weary of crates). Once they get to the vet though they've done great. They get along well with our cattle dog and enjoy pets from our toddler. They would enjoy an indoor / outdoor home.

Story
Hi! My name is Prometheus and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by my previous owner on February 12, 2023.My previous owner described me as shy. I lived in a home with another cat. I am an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing!I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.I am looking for a calm and quiet home where I can show my true colors when I`m comfortable and ready to!My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Hi! My name is Kalypso and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by my previous owner on April 28th, 2023 because they could no longer care for me. I lived in a home with other cats. My previous owner described me as shy.I am an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing! My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other cats. When meeting cats in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home.My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!Medical WaiverYour new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.1) This cat has a history of urinating outside of the litterbox. A urinalysis was normal, so this is most likely a behavioral issue. Good litterbox hygiene will be important for this cat. We have also included an information handout.2) This cat has a malformed right ear. She also has an infection in that ear. She most likely will be prone to ear infections due to malformation. Please give medication as prescribed. We recommend you follow up with your regular veterinarian.
