Story
Kennedy is a survivor. She was rescued in 2018 from a shelter where she had endured 140 mph winds in an outdoor cage during Hurricane Harvey. That was in addition to whatever she endured before the shelter. But Kennedy is resilient. She became a treasured member of my pack of pups and has been a faithful friend to me for the past 6 years. Not only has Kennedy healed so much in this time, but she has been pivotal in my own healing. She has helped me feel safe while living alone and kept me company on countless solo walks and hikes. She&#39s joined me on trips to state parks and sat with me next to lakes enjoying sunsets. She&#39s snuggled with me while I cried and brought so much joy into my life. But as Kennedy has gotten older, she has grown less tolerant of smaller and high-energy dogs. She likes a peaceful, loving home. High-energy dog situations stress her out, so I believe she would be happier in either a one-dog household or one with only big dogs. Kennedy is 6 years old (June &#3924), most likely a Dutch Shepherd mix, and 75 lbs. She is spayed, fully up to date with vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and monthly flea+tick meds.June 22, 2025, 12:36 pm

Story
Luther's foster mom describes him as the absolute sweetest, and it’s easy to see why. He gets along wonderfully with all the dogs in the home and would thrive with a canine companion in his forever family. Luther has picked up kennel training quickly and doesn’t make a peep when crated. He’s happiest when he’s near his people, so we’re looking for a home where someone works from home or is around most of the time. Luther is a 1 year old, 55 lb, Dutch Shepherd/German Shepherd mix (our best guess!) who’s ready to find his forever home. Story
Meet Saint – A True Survivor Ready for His Forever Home! Saint is a stunning Catahoula/Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his story. This handsome boy was rescued from a local shelter after being found all alone with a severely broken leg. He was in desperate need of medical care, and thanks to the quick action of Legacy Humane Society and the loving care of his foster family, Saint is now fully recovered and thriving! Now healed and full of life, Saint is ready for his next chapter—with a forever family who will love him as much as he’ll love them. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and fantastic with people and other dogs. (He hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but we’re happy to do so upon request.) Saint is an energetic, athletic pup who lives for playtime. He’s a fan of fetch, tug-of-war, and zoomies, so an active home (and maybe a playful canine sibling) would be perfect for this spirited guy. He plays hard and loves harder! &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Vetting Info: • Neutered • Up to date on vaccinations • Microchipped • Heartworm negative DOB: 4/23/24 &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 Weight: 45 lbs  Adoption Fee: $275 If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal, loving, and playful pup, Saint is waiting for you! Story
Hi I`m Cali, I also go by Cali girl. I was born in 2017. I love to leap through the backyard like a kangaroo chasing after my Kong. We go to the lake and play in the water and take long car rides. I`m a great snuggler so much so I have to be the only animal snuggling. I`m great with kids, love to take long walks and chew on my peanut butter bones. I need a forever home where I am the only one being spoiled. At the facility I enjoy my time in the yard and long walks. If you love my ears in pictures wait till you see them in person!!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heartworm preventative, heartworm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.

These pups are in Pilot Point, Texas too!

Story
Hi! I'm Sunny! I'm a 4 year old Shepherd mix with a very happy disposition. Yep... that's how I got my name! I am a very sweet girl with plenty of energy. I would love a home where someone will play with me or take me for walks. I like other dogs and kids but haven't really met any kitties yet. I am potty & crate trained ! Will you be the lucky one to give me a forever home? My foster mom says I'm a doll so I would love to be a doll in my new home with you!

Story
This sweet 9 month-old German Shepherd mix is as gentle as she is loving. Weighing in at 30 pounds, Cheese may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s all about attention and playtime! She loves to fetch, is treat-motivated, and is working on building her confidence—especially on a leash. Cheese gets along well with other dogs and kids, making her a wonderful family companion. However, she’s a bit scared of cats, so a feline-free home would be best. If you’re looking for a loving, playful pup who just needs a little encouragement to blossom, Cheese is the one for you!

Story
Mac is a 9-month-old German Shepherd mix with a playful personality and a heart full of love! Weighing 29 pounds, this sweet girl can be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s all about affection, attention, and playtime. She’s treat-motivated, loves to fetch, and enjoys playing with toys—especially a good ball! Mac gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit selective with her friends. She’s also scared of cats, so a home without feline companions would be ideal. With her gentle nature and loving personality, Mac would make a wonderful family dog.
