💌 A Valentine from Riley 💌 Dear Future Best Friend, Warning: I will steal your heart. 💘 Not in a sneaky way...more in a “I’ll sit nicely, give you my paw, and look at you like you hung the moon” kind of way. 😍 I’m Riley, and I’m told I’m very handsome (I try not to let it go to my head). What really makes me special, though, is how much I love my people. Unlike some doggos, I’m not really motivated by treats. Instead, I’m motivated by YOU. 🫵 Your praise. Your smile. Your “good boy.” That’s the good stuff. Here’s what you should know about your future Valentine: ❤️ I’m housebroken and have great manners ❤️ I know lots of commands — sit, stay, paw, outside, come, couch, no… and I’m always ready to learn more ❤️ I love everyone I meet ❤️ I work very hard to remember not to jump when I get excited (because sometimes I just can’t help how happy I am to see you) ❤️ I’m eager to please and learn quickly All I want is someone to belong to. Someone to be proud of me. Someone who wants to come home to me. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, devoted best boy who will choose your praise over snacks any day… I’m right here. Will you be my forever Valentine? Love, Riley 🐾 ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
💌 A Valentine from Aspen 💌 Dear Future Forever Family, Let me guard your heart. 🔐 I promise I’ll take that job very seriously. Once you’re in my circle, you’re mine in the very best way. I’m loyal to my core, the kind of girl who will stay by your side and keep a watchful eye on the world around us. You’ll never wonder where my heart is… it’ll be right there with you. 💞 I’m a beautiful shepherd mix (I’ve been told I’m quite stunning, but I try to stay humble). I’m incredibly smart, happy, and full of love. My foster family says I’ve filled their home with so much joy, and I’d love nothing more than to do the same for you. 🥰 👇 A few things about your future Valentine: ❤️ I bond deeply and love fiercely ❤️ I’m sweet, devoted, and happiest with “my people” ❤️ I’d do best in a home without small animals (those little critters are just a bit too interesting for me) ❤️ Rain? No thank you. I prefer sunshine and dry paws. If you’re looking for a best friend who will be loyal beyond words… a protector, a partner, a heart-guarder… I’m your girl. Will you be my forever Valentine? ♾️ Love, Aspen 🐾 ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. Story
Kilo is 1 year and 3 months old. He is very playful and likes to run around outside. I feel like Kilo would be amazing with another dog to play around with but he is fine on his own as well. He likes to go on walks too. He is good on a leash and is house trained.

Story
Meet Mia a 4-year-old, 70-80 lb fully vaccinated and spayed beauty who thrives in a structured environment and has consistently proven herself easy to work with, responsive, and eager to please. Mia is looking for a calm, confident adopter who can offer her the routine and structure, which is where she thrives! She&#39ll do well in a dog-savvy home and gets along with other dogs when management is clear and calm. We recommend a home without young children; teens may be fine with guidance. Over the years, she&#39s completed several training programs--passing each with flying colors! . To support her in her next chapter, Happy Gentle Dogs will provide a complimentary Board & Train before adoption, along with a smooth, hands-on transfer and follow-up support to set everyone up for success. Mia has a solid foundation and a big heart. If you&#39re ready to meet her with patience and purpose, we&#39d love to hear from you. If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Mia is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.December 17, 2025, 12:17 am

He is fully vaccinated and looking for a dedicated person who can offer the time, training, and care he needs to feel safe and confident. If you&#39re ready to earn the trust of a truly devoted companion, Hustle is waiting to meet you. Franke is a handsome young shepherd mix, weighing about 65 lbs, with a love for squeaky toys and chasing balls. He&#39s housebroken, crate-trained, and knows commands like &#34sit,&#34 &#34down,&#34 &#34off,&#34 and &#34outside.&#34 He&#39s working on leash manners and will do best with someone who can offer firm, patient guidance. Franke thrives with structure--he needs regular crate naps to recharge and a yard to run and play.
