Story
Meet Mia a 4-year-old, 70-80 lb fully vaccinated and spayed beauty who thrives in a structured environment and has consistently proven herself easy to work with, responsive, and eager to please. Mia is looking for a calm, confident adopter who can offer her the routine and structure, which is where she thrives! She&#39ll do well in a dog-savvy home and gets along with other dogs when management is clear and calm. We recommend a home without young children; teens may be fine with guidance. Over the years, she&#39s completed several training programs--passing each with flying colors! . To support her in her next chapter, Happy Gentle Dogs will provide a complimentary Board & Train before adoption, along with a smooth, hands-on transfer and follow-up support to set everyone up for success. Mia has a solid foundation and a big heart. If you&#39re ready to meet her with patience and purpose, we&#39d love to hear from you. If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Mia is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.November 26, 2025, 11:46 am

Story
Hustle is a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, weighing about 40 pounds. He may be small for his breed, but he&#39s bursting with energy and thrives on movement--whether it&#39s running, hiking, or playing with other dogs. Left behind in boarding by his previous owner, Hustle is still learning to trust. He can be shy at first, but with patience and love, his loyal nature shines through. He is fully vaccinated and looking for a dedicated person who can offer the time, training, and care he needs to feel safe and confident. If you&#39re ready to earn the trust of a truly devoted companion, Hustle is waiting to meet you. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Hustle is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.September 7, 2025, 11:31 pm

Story
This is Delilah, she is 2 years old her birthday is August 23. She is a very loving and sweet girl she does great with kids and other dogs. She is protective of her people. I am rehoming her due to my living situation I can no longer keep her and I haven’t had as much time to be with her like I used to since having my daughter. She is a quiet girl and loves loving and sleeping under your bed. She’s house trained, is an amazing car dog and love to go driving. She fairly well trained but could use more. She does like to dig but that’s her only “flaw” that some may not like.
