Paws up and tail wags for our newest pack member, Harlee!  She's having a barking good time frolicking with her foster fur-siblings and sniffing out every inch of the yard.  Harlee did not see much of the world when she was young, and as a result is quite scared of new people.  Her amazing foster home is working hard to introduce her to new places and people and Harlee will need an adopter that will continue this work.   She will require an experienced home, no first time gsd owners for this girl please.    Join us in spreading the woof about adorable Harlee! Story
Introducing Thunder, a majestic and spirited boy whose heart is as big as his stature! At the tender age of 4, Thunder carries the joyful essence of puppyhood in his large frame, lighting up the lives of those around him with his exuberance and love for play. Thunder is a quick learner, already acquainted with basic commands, showcasing his eagerness to please and intelligence. However, he's still perfecting his leash manners, which presents a wonderful opportunity for bonding through training. He's looking for a patient and loving guide who can lead him with consistency and positivity, helping him become the perfect walking companion. But what truly makes Thunder's heart race? The sheer joy of playing fetch with a ball. Mention the word "ball," and you'll see his eyes light up with anticipation and excitement. He's an athlete at heart, reveling in the thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of a game well played. Whether it's a leisurely toss in the backyard or an energetic session at the park, Thunder is all in, ready to impress with his agility and zest. While Thunder adores the company of humans and relishes every opportunity to play and interact, his playstyle with other dogs can be a bit boisterous. He tends to play with a rough and tumble approach, which means he would thrive best as the only dog in the home or possibly with a confident female companion who can match his playfulness without being overwhelmed. To ensure harmony in his future home, it's advised that he joins a family without cats or small dogs, where his boundless energy and size can be appreciated and managed with love. Thunder dreams of a family that embraces his lively spirit and is ready to provide him with the space he needs to run, play, and express his joy for life. In return, Thunder promises a lifetime of loyalty, laughter, and countless adventures. If you're looking for a big, fun-loving boy to add excitement and unconditional love to your life, Thunder might just be your perfect storm. ---   ##1947178##

Story
Ruger is a two and a half old GSD boy who came to us with another male dog from a family that could no longer keep them. His buddy was adopted, but we are still looking for the perfect home for Ruger. He is a sweet boy that is house-trained, crate trained, affectionate and reasonably well-mannered for his age. He is being fostered with dogs and an older child. He  not be placed with small dogs due to an incident in the prior home (we don’t think it was all their fault but we will err on the side of caution.) Ruger loves to play ball.  He is healthy, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.  Ruger is rather shy and will do best in a home that can get him socialized with people.  ##1949890##

Story
Milo is an 8 year old German/lab mix. He has been in my family since he was a puppy, but unfortunately with me and my siblings growing up, we haven't had a lot of time to spend with him and give him the life he deserves. Milo is a loyal and protective dog. When it comes to strangers and other dogs, Milo is a bit different. He will bark towards people and dogs, but this is because of his protectiveness. Unfortunately, Milo has had some bad run ins with aggressive dogs so we do prefer if he is adopted by someone who has no other pets. Milo is friendly with children as far as we know, as long as he is familiar with them. Some traits and quirks of Milo is that he loooovveeesss his walks, he hates car rides (he gets car sick ;-;), he loves attention, and getting head rubs when you come home. Even though Milo is reaching his senior years, that little puppy version of him is still inside. We would love to give someone the opportunity to be blessed with this amazing, loyal, and funny dog.

Story
He’s 4 years old almost 5. Bentley loves to go outside and sniff everything. He loves to run, play and roll around in the grass. He’s a very happy dog and loves to go on walks. He loves to be around family. Fireworks don’t bother him, when we’re in the house. He will alert you if he hears any noise outside or by the front door. He loves to play with kids. The more you pet him, the more he’ll fall in love with you. He loves toys but make sure they’re tough. He’s potty trained and knows basic commands. He’s a fast learner and loves to watch America’s Got Talent. We will be sending him with some food we may have left over, his orange jacket and two chew toys. If you have any questions, you’re more than welcome to ask when you fill out the application. Thanks!!

Story
Hi I'm Bourbon, I'm a German Sheppard/Lab Mix (is what we were told) I'm only 1 year old. My birthday is 2/1/23 and I'm up to date on shots (new rabies not due until May 2024) Medium size, definitely not as big as a full bred German Sheppard. I love chasing/playing with kids and other dogs. I've never met a cat, but have encountered/been gentle with bunnies. House/potty trained with dog door and neutered. Rehoming due to busy schedules. He's not a bad dog by any means, just needs someone whom has patience and time for his breed.......really hoping to find a forever/loving home! Comes with XL dog kennel/crate.

Story
Diego is a young male shepherd/rottie mix. He was pulled from a high kill shelter with minutes to spare. He was very scared in the shelter environment but opened up when he was taken out. He like to play fetch and is learning how to trust that not all humans are bad. He currently does better with females but opens up to males with encouragement using treats. He is dog friendly and not even reactive when other dogs show dominance. If you would like to meet Diego please apply at pupandcatco.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.We do not have a shelter facility and our pets are housed in foster homes, vet clinics and local boarding facilities. Just over a year old she is very loving and sweet! Puppy energy so a patient, and attentive home would be ideal. She is very friendly and eager to learn. Active and breed experienced home prefered! She is spayed and up to date on shots. Angelique would make a wonderful addition to a loving home. A adult only home, or a home with older children is best. Fenced in yard is a must for angelique. Angelique needs to be the only pet in the home. Interested? Send us a email inquiry and we will get a application over to you!!April 18, 2024, 10:34 am

Kano!!! Kano is a two year old male. Current on vaccinations, neutered, and chipped. Kano is on monthly preventative known as the slow kill method. He tested low positive for heartworm when he first came into our care. What is slow kill? Monthly topical treatment to treat and prevent heartworm disease in dogs. The good news is Kano is already being treated, and the better news there are NO lifestyle restrictions. Kano has been waiting a long time to go home. He has amazing potential to the right home. He needs a dedicated, active, and structured home. A home where he can have daily exercise, stimulation, and love. Kano loves being close to people. Active home, military, breed experience please apply. Kano is dog friendly but no cats or smaller dogs. A perfect addition to a home willing to work with him and provide an outlet for his energy. We would love nothing more then to see Kano home. If you are interested or have any additional questions please send us a email inquiry or visit our website to apply!!
