Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🎀✨ Meet Cindy Lou — Your Future Walking, Wagging Bundle of Joy ✨🎀 At just 10 months old, Cindy Lou is already proving she’s less “puppy” and more full-blown heart thief. With her beautiful coat, bright eyes, and joyful puppy energy, she’s the kind of dog who makes strangers smile and friends ask, “Okay but where did you find her?” Cindy Lou is sweet, playful, affectionate, and delightfully goofy — the total package. She adores her people (big and small), though she’s still learning how to contain her enthusiasm when giving love, so older kiddos might be her perfect match. Her affection comes in enthusiastic tail wags, happy hops, and the occasional “oops, I love you too much” moment. She’s great with other dogs and would love a canine sidekick for zoomie sessions and shared mischief. Cats? She’s young, adaptable, and open to negotiations — terms TBD. Outdoorsy? Even a little bit? Cindy Lou is ready. She’s got that “where are we going next?” energy wrapped in puppy curiosity and confidence. Ranch walks? Check. Trails? Absolutely. Puddle splashing like it’s a competitive sport? Gold medal performance. Off leash, she checks in like a pro — part loyal companion, part personal accountability partner. After spending far too much of her young life in rescue, Cindy Lou is more than ready for the good stuff: a home, a couch, a routine, a snack schedule, and people who adore her for the joyful, living mood booster she is. 🌟 Cindy Lou’s Highlights: • 10 months old (DOB 2/24/25) * 60lbs • Beautiful girl with a personality just as bright • Great with people & other dogs • Smart, social, and affectionate (Velcro level: elite) • Adventure buddy by day, champion snuggler by night If you’re looking for a dog who will fill your days with laughter, love, and a whole lot of happy chaos, Cindy Lou is ready to lean in and prance right into your heart. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Cindy Lou is ready to start her forever story with you. 🐾💖

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🍪 Meet Nilla – Sweet as a Wafer, Twice as Fun! 🍪 If you’ve ever wished for a dog as sweet and comforting as your favorite cookie, look no further—Nilla’s got you covered! This 10-year-old Shepherd mix may be a “golden oldie,” but don’t let her age fool you. She’s still full of zest, zoomies, and plenty of love to share. At 45 lbs, Nilla is the perfect fun-size snack. She adores men, women, and other dogs, and her playful, gentle nature makes her a dream companion. She’s food-motivated (who isn’t when cookies are involved?) but never guards her goodies. Instead, she’s all about sharing her big heart and happily coming when called. ✨ Nilla’s recipe for the perfect home includes: — A comfy couch and a human who appreciates belly rubs and head scratches — Doggie friends to run and play with (she’s fantastic with canine buddies!) --- Would probably do fine with cats (she's pretty much ignores the outside cats) — Gentle, older kids who understand that even sweet cookies need a little care — Maybe a backyard where she can show off her zoomies before napping in the sun She’s housetrained, kennel trained, and not too interested in toys—her joy comes from people, play, and pets. With her easygoing nature and good manners, Nilla would make a pawfect first-time pet parent pup. She’s the comfort food of dogs: always reliable, always sweet, and guaranteed to brighten your day. If you’re craving a best friend who’s equal parts sugar, spice, and everything nice, Nilla is ready to be your forever snack pack companion. 🐾❤️ 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and bring home this sweet wafer of a dog!

Story
Hello! I am Alani! I am such a beautiful lady, just check out those silky smooth ears! I came here as a stray, so not much is known about my past. I am very smart; I like to learn new skills and observe the world around me. I do need time to warm up to new people, which is very shepherd-like of me. I will do best with a family who has experience with working/protective breeds, because they will understand how I view the world and will adore my wicked smart brain. I love to zoom around the yards or sit by your feet and get pet while watching the world go by. I have been to dog playgroup here and enjoy canine friends. Come meet me today!Alani may need multiple meet and greets as she can be shy getting to know new people. Story
Hello! My name is Dempsey! If you are looking for an incredibly smart, heartbreakingly handsome, snuggly, cuddly pup, then I am your guy! I am a very sweet boy looking for a forever family. I love meeting new people and making new friends, I truly get along with pretty much everyone I meet. I am very active, energetic, and quite athletic. I love to chase toys, play fetch, and find pesky squeakers to squeak! I love to train and spend a lot of my time learning new skills here. If you have owned a shepherd before, you know that my mind is sharp and ready to work, and I can`t stand to feel bored or lazy. I want to learn new things and you know what? I`m really good at it! When I`m not learning or training, I can usually be found in an office here at the shelter. I am so well-behaved, I am an office fave! I am polite, sweet, and give the best cuddles. I am already housebroken and crate trained, and I am wonderful with the medical team (they say I`m the goodest boy around). I do need to be the only animal in my forever home and I need a family who enjoys working with a smarty-pants like me. If you have have owned a shepherd or similar breed before, you`ll be the best fit for me. I need a special family who can spend time with me, train me, cuddle me, and take me on adventures. Come meet me today! Here`s what the staff have to say about Dempsey, `Dempsey has the best hugs. He will cuddle right in and snuggle you up. He`s fun to train and teach new things and he`s always cracking us up. If I share a little snicky-snacky with him, he`ll eat what`s in the container and then bring me the empty container! He is so affectionate and is always happiest when he has someone to hang out with. He`s just the coolest dude.`If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
