Story
Ahoy! I’m Skipper, a handsome seven-year-old pup with a heart full of love and loyalty. Don’t let my age fool you—I still have plenty of energy to chase my toys and enjoy a good game of fetch. But when playtime is over, I’m more than happy to transform into the ultimate couch potato and keep you company for a cozy movie night.I think I’m a big lap dog (and honestly, I’m pretty good at it!). I’m sweet, laid-back, and always ready to shower you with affection. Give me a little time to get comfortable, and you`ll see just how wonderful and loving I am. Recently, I went on a field trip to an office, and guess what? I was an amazing companion! I made new friends, enjoyed tasty treats, and relaxed like a pro. I’m the perfect mix of playful and easygoing—ready to fit right into your life.If you’re looking for a playful and devoted friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, I’m your guy. Come meet me and see why I’m the perfect mix of fun and relaxation!Interested in adopting me? We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then heading to the shelter during our normal adoption hours to meet our available animals. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext/Opt 2.

Story
Lucky is a great dog. He is very affectionate with people he knows and with strangers. He likes to be petted and given belly rubs and he loves being outside. He is house trained and knows some simple commands. He has a generally low energy level but can be very energetic for short periods when playing with our other dog. We got Lucky from a shelter in 2020 when he was 3 1/2 years old. We have always lived places with fenced yards since then, but now we have had to move to an apartment. Lucky gets along well with our other dog , but he can be reactive around other dogs when he is taken out on a leash for walks. He enjoys his walks and walks pretty well on a leash except when he sees another dog, then he pulls strongly on the leash in the direction of the other dog, but he has never fought or bitten another dog. I am getting older and less able to physically manage him on walks, which now need to be done daily in areas around other dogs. Lucky would be happy to have a home with a yard.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾💙 Meet Mickey — Your Future Best Friend (and Professional Joy Bringer) 💙🐾 Male • ~4 Months Old • ~28 lbs (expected 55–60 lbs full grown) Golden Retriever / Great Pyrenees Mix (best guess) If happiness had four legs and a wagging tail… it would look a whole lot like Mickey. 💛 At just 4 months old, Mickey is already mastering the art of being the perfect mix of playful puppy and snuggly sweetheart. He’s the kind of pup who greets life with a happy heart, a curious nose, and a “what are we doing next?!” attitude. Currently around 28 pounds, Mickey is on track to grow into a big, lovable, adventure-ready companion — the kind of dog who can keep up on the trails and then happily crash at your feet (or in your lap… he hasn’t quite figured out his future size yet). Mickey is: • Wonderful with people of all sizes • Great with other dogs • Doing fantastic with house training (smart boy alert!) • A total lover of life and all things fun Cats are still unknown, but at his young age, with proper introductions, he should do just fine. Now let’s talk about his specialties — because Mickey is a certified puppy professional: • Zoomies (fast, frequent, and slightly dramatic) • Toy collecting (sharing optional) • Exploring everything like it’s brand new (because it is!) • Giving you that look that says “I’m cute, you forgive me, right?” • Falling asleep mid-play because being this adorable is exhausting He’s a little sponge right now, soaking up the world and learning all the good stuff — routines, manners, and how to be someone’s very best friend. Mickey would be the perfect fit for a family who wants a dog that will: • Be active and playful • Love deeply and snuggle often • Join in on adventures big and small • Bring daily laughs (and probably a few “what are you doing?!” moments) Mickey isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for his people. The ones who will laugh at his puppy antics, love him through his growing-up phase, and cherish him for the amazing dog he’s becoming. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Mickey bring the love, the laughs, and the puppy magic into your life. 🐾💛
