Misty URGENT Foster Needed – Long Island, NY Meet Misty. This 10yr old female Retriever/Shepherd mix finds herself in urgent need of a temporary place to call home. Sadly, Misty and her mom lost their current home. Mom is doing all she can to find a new place to live that will allow her to take Misty back, but it has proven to be quite the challenge. She is essentially going to be without a home herself in the near future. THOSE EYES tell you all you need to know. Misty’s early life was not a happy one, leaving her with a bit of anxiety. She is really smart but very shy around new people, especially men. She would do best in an adult-only household. Misty can be aggressive/protective around other dogs, so she needs to be the only pet in the home. She can also be skittish with outside noises, but she is actually very loveable and obedient and she loves her toys. Misty will not do well if she ends up in a shelter. Since being rescued, she has been living with a foster family but recently, she was moved to a professional training facility where she is learning to become a perfect member of the family and a companion. Her bright and cheerful personality shines! She loves being with people and chasing her balls or other toys. Her charm makes people instantly fall in love with her. ❤ Name: Pyeongang ❤ Age: 5 years ❤ Gender: Female ❤ Weight: 50 Lbs. ❤ Breed: Golden Retriever ❤ Vaccinated/Neutered: Up to date on all vaccinations, Spayed and Microchipped ✅ Relationship with Adults: Very Good! Hudson is a very beautiful, smart, and loyal Golden Retriever mix and at 7 years old, and 55 lbs is very active for her age! She has been with her current family for 6 years, and is very loved, but is being re-homed due to concerns about her level of anxiety around their toddler. If you like to get out and exercise, Hudson would love to be your fitness partner. She walks nicely on a leash, and loves to hike and be outdoors. Hudson is dog selective (prefers male dogs), and wants to be the only dog in her forever home. She is completely housebroken and respectful when left alone. She is never destructive … no chewing or getting into anything she shouldn’t. Hudson spent some time living in an apartment in Brooklyn, and did not enjoy the city environment … she is much happier now living in the quieter suburbs with a fenced-in backyard.
