I am Rebel, an adorable medium sized Golden Retriever mix who is 42 pounds and only 1ish year old. I had a home but my parents worked too much and gave me up. I'm a smart guy who is well trained and very obedient. I"m also very quiet...don't make a peep. I'd love to be part of a fun family and live in the suburbs with a fenced in backyard. I love everyone and love to play with other dogs so a doggie sibling would be nice too. Reach out and come get me!

They expected her to stay small but when Pyeongang grew big, they kept her outside on a very short leash to fend herself. Since being rescued, she has been living with a foster family but recently, she was moved to a professional training facility where she is learning to become a perfect member of the family and a companion. Her bright and cheerful personality shines! She loves being with people and chasing her balls or other toys. Her charm makes people instantly fall in love with her. ❤ Name: Pyeongang ❤ Age: 5 years ❤ Gender: Female ❤ Weight: 50 Lbs. ❤ Breed: Golden Retriever ❤ Vaccinated/Neutered: Up to date on all vaccinations, Spayed and Microchipped ✅ Relationship with Adults: Very Good! Curious to meet new people, very friendly and open. ✅ Relationship with Children: Has not met many kids, but her bright personality indicates that she will get along well with kids. We always recommend that adults supervise both kids and dogs during early introductions. ✅ Relationship with other Dogs: Good. Plays well with other dogs. She sometimes become overly excited to meet new furry friends, but she does not “play rough,”. She generally moves away from dogs who seem aggressive. ✅ Relationship with Cats: Unknown. Misty URGENT Foster Needed – Long Island, NY Meet Misty. This 10yr old female Retriever/Shepherd mix finds herself in urgent need of a temporary place to call home. Sadly, Misty and her mom lost their current home. Mom is doing all she can to find a new place to live that will allow her to take Misty back, but it has proven to be quite the challenge. She is essentially going to be without a home herself in the near future. THOSE EYES tell you all you need to know. Misty’s early life was not a happy one, leaving her with a bit of anxiety. She is really smart but very shy around new people, especially men. She would do best in an adult-only household. Misty can be aggressive/protective around other dogs, so she needs to be the only pet in the home. She can also be skittish with outside noises, but she is actually very loveable and obedient and she loves her toys. Misty will not do well if she ends up in a shelter.      Adoption donation $1250 Age: 3 months weeks as of 4/24/2024 weight 13 lbs        John Boy is a sweet, adorable puppy whose mother is a rat terrier of about 27 pounds and whose dad we believe was a small golden receiver/white lab. John Boy’s mom showed up as a stray to a home in rural Mississippi house and gave birth a couple of days later. Wags took in the family of eight, taking care of them, giving the puppies their shots, and is now helping them find loving homes.  John Boy is a bit timid at first, but once he warms up, he is all wiggles and kisses! He spent his early months romping and playing with his siblings and snuggling into a big puppy pile to nap. John boy loves to play with the other dogs in the home and ignores  the cat. He rides well in the car and is loving and a cuddle bug.       John Boy just arrived in the northeast on Saturday, April 20. John Boy will be neutered in the northeast when he is older, his neuter is included in his adoption fee at one of the clinics Wags uses or the rescue will reimburse adopters what we pay if you choose to use your own vet.   Our adoption fee is higher for John Boy but Wags is a struggling 501 C3 in rural Mississippi where one woman cares for 150 stray and abandoned dogs, many of whom are older or have medical issue and  require expensive vet care. Hudson is a very beautiful, smart, and loyal Golden Retriever mix and at 7 years old, and 55 lbs is very active for her age! She has been with her current family for 6 years, and is very loved, but is being re-homed due to concerns about her level of anxiety around their toddler. If you like to get out and exercise, Hudson would love to be your fitness partner. She walks nicely on a leash, and loves to hike and be outdoors. Hudson is dog selective (prefers male dogs), and wants to be the only dog in her forever home. She is completely housebroken and respectful when left alone. She is never destructive … no chewing or getting into anything she shouldn’t. Hudson spent some time living in an apartment in Brooklyn, and did not enjoy the city environment … she is much happier now living in the quieter suburbs with a fenced-in backyard.
