Rylo came in with another dog as an owner surrender. Unfortunately they could no longer care for them so he is currently at the shelter. Rylo is a little bit over a year old and is a retriever mix. He walks well on leash, and already knows the `sit` cue. Rylo may take some time to warm up to people, but so far he is doing quite well with making new friends slowly! Rylo is a playful pup and would do best in an active home, where his new family can take him on some outdoor adventures! Hudson is a very beautiful, smart, and loyal Golden Retriever mix and at 7 years old, and 55 lbs is very active for her age! She has been with her current family for 6 years, and is very loved, but is being re-homed due to concerns about her level of anxiety around their toddler. If you like to get out and exercise, Hudson would love to be your fitness partner. She walks nicely on a leash, and loves to hike and be outdoors. Hudson is dog selective (prefers male dogs), and wants to be the only dog in her forever home. She is completely housebroken and respectful when left alone. She is never destructive … no chewing or getting into anything she shouldn’t. Hudson spent some time living in an apartment in Brooklyn, and did not enjoy the city environment … she is much happier now living in the quieter suburbs with a fenced-in backyard.
