Allie is a beautiful & lovable Golden Retriever mix and has all the qualities that make her a wonderful pup and family member. She's just over a year old and weighs approximately 55 pounds. She has a loving and fun personality and loves everyone and every dog she meets. Her favorite toys are her teddy bear and her ball that she loves to play with. She walks well on a leash and with some practice she'll be perfect. She also loves going for car rides. She's up to date on all her vaccinations, fully housebroken and crate-trained. In other words she's perfect and deserves a happy and fun family who will love her and take care of her forever. Such was the case with Ace and his sister, Alana. This handsome 6-year-old Golden Retriever is seeking his new forever home where he can play ball and get lots of snuggle time. Foster mom shares, "He is very affectionate and sweet to people. He leans in for pets and likes to cuddle if we sit on the floor. He loves playing ball - retrieves beautifully, drops the ball, and waits for the next. Inside, he wants to carry balls and grumbles at both other dogs if they come close, but Alana just ignores him and takes it anyway, and he doesn’t do anything. Some tough guy!! LOL He barks when someone comes to the door, but is quickly quiet, sits promptly, and eliminates efficiently when we take him out. Mostly Ace loves being with people, is friendly, and rests near where you are after ball-playing together. He also loves snuggle time, family affection, and lying by a warm fireplace. He is a very handsome guy, not high-strung, and happy with regular short walks." He was once a beloved companion, but his owner in MS passed away and that left Toby in need of a new home. Toby is a stunningly beautiful boy who has the kind of face that you could just picture on a box of dog biscuits! But he is more than just a handsome face; he is a wonderful Golden mix who longs to be the center of someone’s world, with a typical “love me” Golden attitude. Toby is estimated to be about 4 years old and is described by Heather, one of our volunteers in AL, as a big goofy puppy! "He is a fluffy, sweet guy who tries to dance with me and then puts his paws around me. Seriously, it's like he's saying, "Hey girl!" He likes belly rubs and is one handsome fella who loves treats!" Toby is good with other dogs and weighs in at around 75 lbs. This Golden mix has been neutered, brought up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped. 1 year old Golden/Pyrenees/Staffie mixPatch is a 1 year old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix looking for his forever home. His owners got him as a very young puppy, but didn’t know at the time that Patch was going to grow up and like to go after the neighbor’s chickens. They share that he is super sweet with humans, but just doesn’t care for livestock so he would be better off living in the suburbs. Thor and Faith have been with me since they were about 2 years old. They are now 9. I speak about both because they have never been apart. They are great well mannered house dogs and they cannot be separated. It is with a heavy heart that we part with them. My living situation has changed and it has become necessary. As well as I hope to find someone or family that can truly appreciate these dogs and give them the space they require. These dogs love swimming and playing ball. They are really smart and aim to please. They love just being near you at your feet. And they know how to show affection. I hope someone here can give them a good loving home.
