Hi there! I’m Rosco, and I’m paws-itively delighted to meet you!I’m a a little over 1-year-old Great Dane with a heart as big as my paws! At home, I’m the perfect gentleman—fully house-trained and only barking when it’s really necessary, like when someone unfamiliar approaches the house. (Hey, I’ve got to keep an eye out!) I’m great with older kids—playing ball in the yard or just hanging out is my idea of a perfect day. Babies and little kids? Well, I haven’t had much time to figure them out yet, so I can’t say for sure. Cats? They’re a whole other mystery I haven’t cracked yet either. Other dogs don’t ruffle my fur too much. I’m pretty indifferent to them.When I’m out on walks, I’m like a dream on a leash. I won’t pull, but I do love to take my time sniffing all the interesting smells. I also know all the important human commands like “sit, stay, down, no,” and my favorite one—”go potty!” If you’re wondering about playtime, let me tell you—I’m a toy enthusiast! Balls to chase, bones to chew, squeaky toys to make noise, and rags to shred—I love them all. I even know how to entertain myself if my humans are busy. But don’t worry; I’ll always be ready for some backyard fun or a good game of fetch. I can be a bit skittish around new people, especially if they rush to touch my face. I prefer to take things slow and decide when I’m ready to say hi. If I get nervous, you’ll find me leaning into my favorite human or hiding behind them for comfort. Oh, one thing to note—I’m really tall (duh, I’m a Great Dane!), so I’m still working on resisting the temptation to counter surf. But I promise I’m trying! I’m also on a special urinary diet, so my meals are a little fancy—but I’m worth it, right?
