Story
Hello good people, my name is Easton! I am a 10 week old Great Dane mix and I currently weigh about 10 pounds. I'm sure I'll grow to be a much bigger pup as an adult! I'm a big fan of playing my heart out, followed by a solid nap, and then some more playing. I absolutely love comfy blankets, stuffies, and the company of another dog! I am happiest with my people and especially love to snooze near you. I promise I'll be your loyal shadow. What can I say? I love attention! My foster family has started working with me on puppy training, and I just hope my future family will be continue teaching me the ropes while letting me their bestie for the rest of my days. If you're looking for your heart dog, I'm up for the gig! My adoption fee is $600, with an optional gastropexy contract for an additional $150

Story
Eli is a ~7-month-old big ol’ baby who is still growing into his body and has decided he would very much like to do so from your lap. He is a big lap dog. He just wants to be cuddled and rocked like a baby. He may look like a large, lanky pup (possibly a Great Dane mix…), but don’t be fooled: Eli is convinced he is a tiny dog and would like to be held, carried, cuddled, and babied accordingly. This sweet boy was pulled from a high-risk shelter and is so grateful for his second chance. He’s still on the thinner side and working on adding some healthy weight, but with good food, love, and stability, he’s already blossoming. Eli adores other dogs, thrives on affection, and is happiest when he’s close to his people preferably touching you in some way at all times. Eli is young and will benefit from continued training, structure, and patience as he grows, but he’s eager to learn and even more eager to love. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion with goofy puppy energy, soulful eyes, and the absolute belief that he belongs in your arms despite being… not small. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly, affectionate, kind-hearted pup who wants to be your shadow (and your baby), Eli might just be your guy. 💙 If you’re interested in meeting Eli, contact Jenn or Hannah at ruffners1880@gmail.com.The adoption fee is $275. Adoption fee includes: - microchip - spay/neuter - age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies - heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive - deworming

Story
Mr Loyal! That is what describes this boy in one word. Romo was once owned by someone in Aruba who then moved to the Netherlands. They gave him to some friends that let him roam the streets. We found him strolling along at a bus stop with a huge hematoma on his ear. He jumped right in the car and we took him to the vet. He had surgery and has now recovered from it. We were asked to take him with us to the US as the new owners didn't have the means to take care of him. Romo is an extremely loyal dog, calm and quiet and at the same time friendly with people and dogs. He's is extremely well mannered. Call us to hear about him and learn why we think he is the most loyal dog. His previous owner says he is 4 years old ( the vet says 5) and if you look on our Facebook page you will see all his posts about him. Oh and yes he loves riding in the car with you. He is house broken, does not like the cage to much, but that's ok. He doesn't get himself in trouble in the house. This is a great big dog! He mostly looks like a Great Daner, but could also have some Labrador in it. He is not a drooler like the Danes are. He likes other dogs but will also do well when being just with his special person. We would like to adopt him out within 40 miles of Elgin. His adoption fee is $350 to help us with the cost for his plane ride and the associated vet expenses.

Hi, I’m Smooch.   I’m not quite ready to be adopted, but you can come back here occasionally to check my progress and find out when to submit an application. Dog’s Name: Smooch Location: Naperville, Il. Date of Birth: 12/01/2025 Gender: Male Breed: Great Dane Color: Fawn Dog's Weight: 10 lbs Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  All Cats  Kids?: All kids Training: Leash trained: We're working on it Crate/Kennel:  We're working on it Potty trained: We're working on it Car:  We're working on it Meet Smooch! Smooch is an 8-week-old sweetheart with a gentle, observant nature. He’s the kind of puppy who takes it all in—always watching, listening, and making sure he knows what’s going on around him. Because of that, he’s often the first to alert you when something new pops up. While he can be a little shy at first, his loving personality shines once he feels safe and supported. Smooch does best with an emotional support friend—another friendly, cuddly dog in the home is a must for him. Having a confident canine companion helps him feel secure and encourages him to come out of his shell. With the right environment, he blossoms into a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being near his people and his doggy friend. Smooch is looking for a family who understands that puppies need patience, structure, and lots of positive experiences. As a young giant-breed pup, he will benefit from consistent training and early socialization to help him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. If you’re looking for a gentle, thoughtful puppy who will thrive with love, guidance, and a built-in best friend, Smooch may be your perfect match Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. Story
Hi, I’m Gunner and I’m ready to find my forever home. Dog’s Name: Gunner Location: Kaukauna, WI Date of Birth: 03/03/2022 Gender: Male Breed: Great Dane Color: Black Dog's Weight: 124 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  Unknown Kids?: Older kids Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides Well in car  Meet Gunner! Gunner is a big, lovable guy who has been settling back into foster life after being returned due to his previous owner moving. With a little time and consistency, he’s already made great progress and continues to show just how special he is. At night, Gunner does wonderfully in his crate — he goes in without hesitation and sleeps soundly through the night (fair warning: he’s an early bird and ready to start the day bright and early!). During the day, he’s a certified couch connoisseur. He’s very particular about his spot and firmly believes every lounging session requires a pillow. If you happen to be in his chosen seat, he’ll politely (and vocally) let you know. Gunner enjoys watching the world go by from the window and loves burning off energy outside. He’s an explorer at heart and is always curious about what’s going on around him. He can be affectionate to a fault — he likes to paw at you and climb into your lap, occasionally forgetting just how big he really is. Mouthing has been a work in progress, and while redirection can be challenging at times, he’s improving with patience and consistency. Gunner has done well meeting new people and has even met a much smaller dog (he wanted to play; the other dog… not so much ). He previously lived with a dog brother and is likely to enjoy having a canine companion. A playdate with another Great Dane is on the calendar, and we’re hopeful he’ll make a new friend! Gunner would thrive in a home with an experienced giant breed owner, ideally someone familiar with Dane behavior and training, older children, as his jumping and mouthing could be overwhelming for little ones, a fenced yard or an adopter committed to providing daily exercise and outdoor time, and another dog sibling - especially one who enjoys play time.   With structure, exercise, and someone who appreciates a big dog with an even bigger personality, Gunner will make a loyal, entertaining, and affectionate companion. If you love vocal commentary, couch cuddles, and classic Dane antics, Gunner might just be your perfect match Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption.
