Hi, I’m April and I’m new to the rescue. I am currently decompressing and getting used to my foster family. Check back as my foster family learns more about me!

April is scared and unsure at first but is more confident when another dog or foster mom is around. She has seen the resident cats from a distance and appears curious, though still a bit unsure around them. She absolutely adores dogs and gets along very well with them. She also enjoys the company of adults. April recently met some younger children, whom she was gentle and affectionate with. Her personality is a mix of sweet and sassy. She’s very friendly, highly cuddly, and loves attention. Confident and playful, she brings a fun, loving energy wherever she goes. She loves to play with people, other dogs, or with toys by herself. She's very smart and learns quickly. She's goofy and loves to sneak ip on her foster brothers.
April does fairly well in her crate, though she may become upset if left alone in a room. However, she settles nicely when other dogs are nearby—though her favorite place to be is snuggled up close to someone. Her potty training is progressing well, with only a few minor accidents. We’ve also been practicing some basic cues, including come, sit, watch, and find it.
April's perfect adopter is someone who is willing to do a little training. She is very smart and learns quickly. Someone who likes to play but also loves to cuddle and relax. Ideally, someone with dogs, kids, or both would be great.
Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online application with the $25 application donation. All approved applications are good for 12 months. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization.
Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters.
Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
