I weigh 90 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $500 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. At around 65 pounds, Rave is a gorgeous, playful companion who's just discovered the joy of retrieving and she will happily entertain herself for hours with her favorite toys. Shes leash-trained, well-mannered, and loves a good car ride. Whether shes romping in the yard or curling up after a day of play, she brings a spark of happiness wherever she goes. However, she prefers to be an only dog. She appears to be a Dane or Mastiff mix. Rave would thrive in a home with plenty of space to stretch her legs - big yard or farm would be ideal. We rescued Zoe in 2020. When she first came to us she took a long time to warm up to my Husband. However, she took to me (Mom) and our 3 little boys and their friends immediately. She was abused at her previous home, but we took her in at 7 months old. She is now inseparable from my Husband. She is loving and very protective over her family, especially over the kids. We love her so much and will only allow her to go to a home that can love her like we do. I unfortunately am disabled and my condition is getting to a point where I am unable to take care of her basic needs. My Husband works 2 jobs and is my caretaker as well. She needs more than we can give her. Danes, especially Zoe, are known for lounging around most of the day. But she does still like to play.

The sweetest most loving and loyal girl. She is playful and still acts like a puppy even though she is a young adult. She is very protective over children especially. She has only had contact with our neighborhood dogs and always wants to play but we are unsure as to how she would be with new friends. I am disabled and my health is declining. My Husband works 2 jobs and is my caretaker as well. We love our little girl so very much, we can only send her to a home that will love here as much as we do.

Named after the famously towering basketball player, this 120-pound sweetheart is much more interested in snuggling than sports. Boban has no concept of personal space and loves to lean his whole body against his people. If he can`t fit beside you on the couch, hell happily rest his big head in your lap instead.Around 5 yrs old, Boban is as polite as he is handsome. He already knows sit and paw, especially when treats are involved, and his love of food makes him eager to learn. He gets along wonderfully with his foster dog siblings and has been a fantastic houseguest, enjoying free roam of the home and even putting himself to bed when he`s tired. Boban is vision-impaired, but he navigates life with confidence and would do best in a home with few or no stairs.While Boban walks nicely overall, he can pull on leash and will need a handler who can manage his impressive size and strength. He also loves his people so much that he cries when they leave, and his booming voice makes him a better fit for a single-family home than an apartment. At the end of the day, Boban is a goofy, affectionate boy with a heart every bit as big as he is, and he`s ready to find a family who will let him lean on them forever.We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog`s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog. Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don`t know their background.
