Mr Loyal! That is what describes this boy in one word. Romo was once owned by someone in Aruba who then moved to the Netherlands. They gave him to some friends that let him roam the streets. We found him strolling along at a bus stop with a huge hematoma on his ear. He jumped right in the car and we took him to the vet. He had surgery and has now recovered from it. We were asked to take him with us to the US as the new owners didn't have the means to take care of him. Romo is an extremely loyal dog, calm and quiet and at the same time friendly with people and dogs. He's is extremely well mannered. Call us to hear about him and learn why we think he is the most loyal dog. His previous owner says he is 4 years old ( the vet says 5) and if you look on our Facebook page you will see all his posts about him. Oh and yes he loves riding in the car with you. He is house broken, does not like the cage to much, but that's ok. He doesn't get himself in trouble in the house. This is a great big dog! He mostly looks like a Great Daner, but could also have some Labrador in it. He is not a drooler like the Danes are. He likes other dogs but will also do well when being just with his special person. We would like to adopt him out within 40 miles of Elgin. His adoption fee is $350 to help us with the cost for his plane ride and the associated vet expenses.

Fifi is a gorgeous, curious, 120 pounds of pure love! She's a 1 year old Great Dane lady who is ready to be your velcro pup. She is happiest glue to her person's side! She's super curious and loves having her ears rubbed. She's an excellent learner and will surely hold you up if you're tired! Fifi has loved everyone she has met so far while in foster care and is loving life on the couch. She's started exploring the yard a bit, though she'd always rather have eyes on her people! Her foster family is starting to work with her on crate and potty training, as well as getting her comfortable with car rides :) Let us know if you'd like to meet this show stopper - submit an application! Me and my partner at the time purchased thunder from a breeder. He is a big goofy and slobbery boy. Loves to be the center of attention, and getting out to run around in the yard. He is a great walker, and is truly a gentle giant who doesnt know his size. He was housed with another dog and cat. As well as 3 kids 13 and under. Unfortunately, me and my partner did not work out, and my work schedule has me out of the house 15 hours a day. This is not ideal for any animal, and i would like thunder to go to a person/or family that can suit his needs better than i can.

We rescued Zoe in 2020. When she first came to us she took a long time to warm up to my Husband. However, she took to me (Mom) and our 3 little boys and their friends immediately. She was abused at her previous home, but we took her in at 7 months old. She is now inseparable from my Husband. She is loving and very protective over her family, especially over the kids. We love her so much and will only allow her to go to a home that can love her like we do. I unfortunately am disabled and my condition is getting to a point where I am unable to take care of her basic needs. My Husband works 2 jobs and is my caretaker as well. She needs more than we can give her. Danes, especially Zoe, are known for lounging around most of the day. But she does still like to play.

The sweetest most loving and loyal girl. She is playful and still acts like a puppy even though she is a young adult. She is very protective over children especially. She has only had contact with our neighborhood dogs and always wants to play but we are unsure as to how she would be with new friends. I am disabled and my health is declining. My Husband works 2 jobs and is my caretaker as well. We love our little girl so very much, we can only send her to a home that will love here as much as we do.
