Story
Say hello to Alfie, a goofy, affectionate boy whos ready to find his forever home. Alfie is a unique Great Dane and Poodle mix and a big, sweet-hearted pup! This lovable guy adores attention and thrives in a home where hes part of the action. Hes always up for a game of fetch, though fair warning: hes not great at giving the ball back the ball, its part of his charm! Alfies got a playful spirit and loves to run, but hes also a gentle giant when it comes to children. He has had a doggy companion since birth and does well with familiar pets, but may need slow introductions to new dogs, as he can be unsure around unfamiliar four-legged friends. Hes a bit of a softie during thunderstorms or around loud noises, so hell need a calm and comforting home to help him feel safe. Alfie is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and 100% ready to go home with someone who will love him as much as he will love them.

Story
I met Mystic at a pet supply store. A customer had rescued this sweet girl from one of her, not so nice, neighbors but couldn't keep her. Mystic was about 3 months old. I already had 2 dogs and did not want another but also didn't want her placed in a shelter. All 3 dogs get along great. However, Mystic loves to play All the time. My other 2 fur babies are 9 and 4yrs. they love to play with her but not all day. She is likely, a little over a yr. old now. Honestly, I believe, in the long run, she a would be happier in a home preferably with an energetic dog(s), kiddos to play with and room to run. It will break my heart to let her go but I don't want her spirit to be squelched. She gets bored, then gets into mischief. Mystic is SO loving, sweet, loves to cuddle. She uses a dog door, loves to ride, esp. with windows down, play in the sprinkler & chase bubbles. She understands "No", wait, learning to walk on a leash & fetch.

Story
I cannot take care of him much longer, and will be forced to either surrender him to a shelter or euthanize him (which I really do not want to do)This was my wife's dog. We are going through a divorce and I have done my best to take care of him. Unfortunately right now he stays in his kennel and only gets let out twice a day. I do not have the time, nor the ability to give him the life he deserves. She is unable to keep him, and I have been doing my best for the last year. I know he isn't as happy as he could be or once was. I need him to go to a good home where he can be loved on, because he has a lot of love to give.

Story
Meet Champ – The Underdog Ready to Win Your Heart Champ isn't just his name- it's who he is. This 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix (71 lbs) has spent 411 days waiting as of 05/16/26, and through it all, he has never stopped believing that his person is out there. As one of our Diamond Dogs, his adoption fee is just $75- but the loyalty, devotion, and heart he brings are truly priceless. Champ is the kind of dog who forms a deep, unbreakable bond with his person. He is incredibly people-focused, always looking to connect, and thrives when he has someone to call his own. Once you're in his circle, you're everything to him. He walks beautifully on a leash, is intelligent and eager to learn, and does best with structure, routine, and confident leadership. Champ is not just looking for a home- he's looking for a teammate, someone who will guide him, believe in him, and let him be the loyal companion he was meant to be. Champ would do best in a home with older children or adults who are comfortable with a large, strong dog. He is not a match for homes with cats or small animals and will require a securely fenced yard (6Âפ ft, no chain link). He may do well with a submissive female dog or thrive as the only pet where he can fully focus on his person. After more than a year in the shelter, Champ is more than ready to step into the life he deserves- a life where he is no longer waiting, but finally home. Champ is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative as of 03/27/26. If you're looking for a dog who will stand by your side, be fiercely loyal, and give you his whole heart, Champ is ready to meet you. He's waited long enough- now it's his time to win. Story
Meet Molly, a 6-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who weighs approximately 93 pounds and is looking for the right home to match her loyal and intelligent personality. Molly was surrendered to our facility after she was not compatible with the other dogs in her previous home. She is very treat-motivated, knows several basic commands, walks well on a leash, and even knows some fun tricks like offering her paw for a “shake.” Molly appears to be both housebroken and crate trained, which should help make her transition into a new home smoother. As a middle-aged, extra-large breed dog, Molly prefers a calmer environment and is past the stage of puppy antics. Because of this, she would do best in a home with children 16 years or older, or in an adult-only household. Molly does not do well with female dogs but may coexist with a calm, large-breed male. If you currently have a large male dog in the home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure they are a good match. Molly's adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on her rabies vaccination, and up to date on basic boosters. If you are interested in meeting Molly, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/our-pets/available-dogs/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
