Looking for a smart, sweet, and oh-so-handsome companion? Meet Archie, a gentle and goofy giant with a big heart and an even bigger personality! This 70-pound Great Dane/Lab mix is as affectionate as he is intelligent — he already knows how to sit, lay down, and shake, and he’s always eager to learn more.Archie LOVES to play, whether it’s romping around the yard or tossing toys in the air. He has great manners around the house and can be a total cuddle bug, but he’s also perfectly content hanging out in his own bed if you need some space.Archie is still learning how to be his best self around other dogs. He’s participated in playgroups and is making great progress, but he’ll thrive with a patient, committed adopter who can help him continue working on his reactivity with positive guidance. If you`re looking for a loyal, loving, and trainable pup who’s ready for adventure and snuggles, Archie might just be your perfect match!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Sam (FKA Pan) Is Available For Adoption!🩵 This precious dog was abandoned by his owner & very sad when he was rescued. Since being in a loving foster home, he's much happier. He absolutely adores people & has become somewhat of a velcro dog.🥰 His foster mom says, "He has the sweetest habit: he gently hides himself behind the shower curtain and lies there waiting for us to brush our teeth or whatever. It seems like he feels safe there. Such a cutie.💜 He is truly a lovely dog!" Sam (Pan) has been examined by a vet & other than being underweight from not being fed properly, he's a healthy boy! He's been vaccinated, dewormed & heartworm tested negative. He is neutered & he's approx 8 years of age. He's still underweight at 92 lbs, but eating better every day! Sam is the most gentle-natured giant. He's wonderful with all animals & kids. He enjoys being outside with whoever wants to hang out. He likes to play with other dogs too! (See video) He'd make an amazing companion. Please consider giving him a forever where he can live out his golden years surrounded by love.💞 🎶Watch Sam's music video--> https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1EZgBNQh5B/ For more videos & pictures, please reach out! Story
Annistyn is a majestic senior Great Dane lady with a heart as grand as her stature. In her younger days, she was the confident Alpha gal who led with quiet strength and grace. Now, she’s perfectly content to let another dog take the lead while she enjoys the finer things in life—soft beds, sunny spots, and quality time with her humans. Annistyn gets along wonderfully with medium and large dogs and loves being part of the pack. She’s house and crate trained, polite indoors, and still full of life and affection. This regal girl does have a strong prey drive, so a home without small animals will be best for her. She’s also quite the athlete—she can jump fences—so she’ll need a secure, tall fenced yard to keep her safe while she enjoys her outdoor time. What Annistyn wants most is a loving family to share her golden years with. She has so much love left to give and is ready to be your loyal, gentle companion for the rest of her days. Please spread the word to help Annistyn find her forever family! Share this post, tag your friends, and let's make sure she finds a family that will play with and give her all the love she deserves. Story
Hello everybodeeeeeeeee! It is I, Grover! I’m an young, adorable Double Merle Great Dane. And just like the lovable blue monster, I have a few special quirks – I am Deaf, but I can see even though my eyes are starburst, and I do see some shadowing. But my ability to connect with my surroundings is incredible. Unlike my Sesame Street namesake, I don’t have his endless confidence... over the last few months I have been coming out of my shell and now earerly come to my human for love and attention — I’m a Super Grover in the making! I have a gentle personality that’s ready to shine once I feel safe, and I’m on the lookout for a loving home where I can grow and gain confidence. My story hasn’t been easy — I was a stray, living on the streets, and that’s made me a little cautious. I need a bit of time to trust new people, and it takes me a moment to warm up to new situations. But once you’ve earned my trust, you’ll see just how much love and loyalty I have to give! I’m looking for a forever home with a medium or large doggie companion who can be my guide and best friend. I need a buddy to help me feel safe and build my confidence. Like the Sesame Street crew, a good friend can make all the difference! My training is coming along nicely. I now know sit, come and am learning to make eye contact with my foster mom so I know what she needs me to do. But if you’re looking for a pal who’ll grow with you and become your loyal partner, I’m your guy! While I’m not a superhero yet, with time and training, I know I’ll develop into the best sidekick you could ask for. Please spread the word to help Grover find his forever family! Story
Meet Champ – The Underdog Ready to Win Your Heart Champ isn't just his name- it's who he is. This 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix (71 lbs) has spent 375 days waiting as of 04/10/26, and through it all, he has never stopped believing that his person is out there. As one of our Diamond Dogs, his adoption fee is just $75- but the loyalty, devotion, and heart he brings are truly priceless. Champ is the kind of dog who forms a deep, unbreakable bond with his person. He is incredibly people-focused, always looking to connect, and thrives when he has someone to call his own. Once you're in his circle, you're everything to him. He walks beautifully on a leash, is intelligent and eager to learn, and does best with structure, routine, and confident leadership. Champ is not just looking for a home- he's looking for a teammate, someone who will guide him, believe in him, and let him be the loyal companion he was meant to be. Champ would do best in a home with older children or adults who are comfortable with a large, strong dog. He is not a match for homes with cats or small animals and will require a securely fenced yard (6Âפ ft, no chain link). He may do well with a submissive female dog or thrive as the only pet where he can fully focus on his person. After more than a year in the shelter, Champ is more than ready to step into the life he deserves- a life where he is no longer waiting, but finally home. Champ is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative as of 03/27/26. If you're looking for a dog who will stand by your side, be fiercely loyal, and give you his whole heart, Champ is ready to meet you. He's waited long enough- now it's his time to win. Story
Meet Molly, a 6-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who weighs approximately 93 pounds and is looking for the right home to match her loyal and intelligent personality. Molly was surrendered to our facility after she was not compatible with the other dogs in her previous home. She is very treat-motivated, knows several basic commands, walks well on a leash, and even knows some fun tricks like offering her paw for a “shake.” Molly appears to be both housebroken and crate trained, which should help make her transition into a new home smoother. As a middle-aged, extra-large breed dog, Molly prefers a calmer environment and is past the stage of puppy antics. Because of this, she would do best in a home with children 16 years or older, or in an adult-only household. Molly does not do well with female dogs but may coexist with a calm, large-breed male. If you currently have a large male dog in the home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure they are a good match. Molly's adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on her rabies vaccination, and up to date on basic boosters. If you are interested in meeting Molly, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/our-pets/available-dogs/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
