I met Mystic at a pet supply store. A customer had rescued this sweet girl from one of her, not so nice, neighbors but couldn't keep her. Mystic was about 3 months old. I already had 2 dogs and did not want another but also didn't want her placed in a shelter. All 3 dogs get along great. However, Mystic loves to play All the time. My other 2 fur babies are 9 and 4yrs. they love to play with her but not all day. She is likely, a little over a yr. old now. Honestly, I believe, in the long run, she a would be happier in a home preferably with an energetic dog(s), kiddos to play with and room to run. It will break my heart to let her go but I don't want her spirit to be squelched. She gets bored, then gets into mischief. Mystic is SO loving, sweet, loves to cuddle. She uses a dog door, loves to ride, esp. with windows down, play in the sprinkler & chase bubbles. She understands "No", wait, learning to walk on a leash & fetch.

She is house, leash and crate trained. We are working with her on basic commands.She gets along with dogs and doesn't show interest in cats. No young children for Ireland. She plays rough and just loves doing twirls and zoomies. She is fully vetted, vaccinated and microchipped. White Kisses GDR has a very small program for non adoptable Danes. All of our Sanctuary gentle giants have disabilities or are Double Merles. Due to behavior or medical they are not adoptable and will stay with WK for the rest of their lives. Speckles is a beautiful double merle Great Dane with a heart as big as her paws and a spirit that shines through in everything she does. This beautiful, deaf girl has learned to navigate the world in her own unique way, relying on her keen awareness and deep connection with her people. True to the Velcro Dane nickname, Speckles forms strong bonds and thrives on companionship. She wants to be near her humans as much as possible, finding comfort and joy simply by being by your side. Her affectionate nature makes her an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Speckles is house trained and understands the routines of home life well. While she is familiar with a crate, it tends to cause her anxiety, so she would do best in a home where crating is not necessary and she can feel safe and secure in a more open environment. She gets along well with other dogs when given proper, thoughtful introductions. With a little patience at the start, she settles in nicely and can enjoy the company of her canine companions. Speckles has a bit of a story written on her—she carries some scarring around her neck from a prior injury.
