Story
Three puppies, two males named Tommy Boy and Trouble, and one female named Robin, were found as strays and taken to a kill shelter in Orange County. Tommy Boy and Robin both had parvo and Trouble had a fractured back leg. The AALOC team knew these young dogs didn’t stand a chance with their medical issues and would be euthanized, so a volunteer pulled them out of the kill shelter to receive the medical attention they needed and the chance to find forever homes at AALOC. Tommy Boy was treated for his parvo and has fully recovered. Tommy Boy’s coat is white and he is the biggest of the three puppies. We believe he is a Great Pyrenees mix but will probably not grow as large as a full bred Great Pyrenees. Tommy Boy is very playful and very sweet. He likes to be the center of attention and loves pets. We recommend he be adopted by someone who can provide the exercise he will need as a very active dog. Please apply to adopt Tommy Boy at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Tommy Boy and get to know him a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to LAX💟The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate.Meet Yeoreum💕 (her name means “Summer” in Korean)💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_1.) Health Condition Spayed. Microchipped, and heartworm negative2.) Rescue Story Yeoreum had spent a long time in a raised wire cage at a dog meat farm and was on the brink of slaughter when Adogs arrived. Fortunately, she was rescued just in time.3.) Basic Information With People: Takes her time adjusting to new environments and is slowly opening her heart. Shows curiosity toward strangers by sniffing them and wiggles her tail happily when she sees familiar faces. While she may try to retreat when startled by touch, she calmly accepts it once it happens. During walks, she comfortably enjoys petting from people she trusts. With Dogs: Generally plays well with other dogs, but will growl or show her teeth if another dog is too pushy or if she wants to rest alone. Caution is needed as she may snap at other dogs in these situations. With Cats: Does not react to cats during walks and remains calmly focused on her handler. Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently living in a group at our center, this is unknown. Potty Training: Currently relieves herself outdoors at our center. Re-training may be necessary in a new environment. Hygiene: Might try to dodge the brush initially inside her kennel, but soon settles down. In open play areas, she tends to run away from grooming. However, she is very well-behaved during baths. Walks: May try to avoid the leash in the playground, but waits calmly in her kennel and walks very well once outside! Car Sickness: No motion sickness observed during short trips (e.g., to the vet). Long-distance travel experience is limited and would need monitoring. May growl when other dogs are too assertive or when she wants to be left alone, so supervision is required. Has a great appetite and loves food! Also enjoys resting peacefully indoors by herself. Thanks to extensive kennel training, she can handle long periods in a crate, making her a great candidate for flight travel. May get startled and run away if a person approaches too suddenly, but she stays calm once they begin petting her. * Is a calm girl with a moderate energy level. While she is a bit shy around humans, she is a bright and lovely dog who truly enjoys her walks and treats.

Story
Suki would be a wonderful best friend to anyone who has a space large enough for her big energy! She is up-to-date on shots and is pending her spay appointment. Extremely friendly with other dogs and children, and for the most part, walks great on a leash (collar/harness). She is a super quiet dog (just pants a lot!) and does not bark at strangers walking by. She is a big love-bug, but sometimes prefers being left alone and will let you know by nibbling on your hands. She knows a few basic tricks and is smart enough to learn more, but too stubborn to do them sometimes! She likes to follow you around your home just to plop her body down next to you with a big sigh and sleep. No health issues. Behavior wise, she can get overexcited, but as long as you exercise her frequently, she's really calm. I can better explain the reason for her rehome via email or phone, but please know that I absolutely love Suki and this hurts me a lot to let her go, but I want her to be happy. Ask any Qs!

MEET FREDDIE! 🐾 Freddie is ~3 yr old Pyrenees x Collie mix who thrives in wide open spaces. Think hiking trails and nature walks, not coffee shop patios or errand runs. The modern world can be a lot for this guy, so the quieter and more natural, the better. He would also love a chill, confident dog buddy by his side who can show him the world isn't so scary after all. Freddie would thrive in a calm home with outdoor access and a patient adopter who appreciates a dog with personality and doesn't need him to be the life of the party. Full bio coming soon! Story
Jethro & Elly May — Bonded Pair! 🤍 When Elly May came into rescue she was fighting for her life. Distemper. Touch and go for weeks. But her brother Jethro never left her side — and we believe he's the reason she made such a complete and remarkable recovery. She is no longer sick or contagious, she is completely well - playful and bouncy and she lives for pets! Jethro is a big galumph who thinks he's a lapdog. Elly May is a goofy princess who survived because her brother wouldn't give up on her. Together they are gentle, loving, and completely devoted — to each other and to their people. They'll cuddle up, check in on each other during walks, and shower you with affection like it's their full time job. These are not couch potato dogs — they are strong, smart, and built for a purpose. As Pyrenees mixes, they are natural guardians who would thrive on a farm or ranch protecting livestock, or with an active family who loves hiking, running, and outdoor adventure. They are incredibly intelligent and would respond beautifully to advanced training. Their ideal home has: -- Large securely fenced yard or acreage -- Space to roam and a doggy door -- Experience with large or independent breeds -- Ideally no other dogs in the home, or appropriate intro to dogs of similar size -- People who are home enough to give them the attention they deserve They are currently located in Los Angeles but we will help coordinate transport for the right family — including to the Pacific Northwest where their big fluffy energy is basically a lifestyle requirement. If you have the room, the love, and the adventure in your heart for this pair — please reach out. They've already proven they can get through anything together. They just need someone to open the door. Contact Come & Stay Dog Rescue to learn more or arrange a meet and greet. There is some urgency as their current foster family is moving out of state shortly. Fee is negotiable for the right home. Please contact at: information@comeandstay.org.🐾

Story
Jethro & Elly May — Bonded Pair! 🤍 Jethro was skinny and stressed from shelter trauma when he came into rescue with his sister, Elly May. We believe they are full siblings. Raised on a ranch, they were turned jn by their owner who was no longer able to financially care for them. They were rescued from euthanasia one hour before their deadline! Elly May was sick when she joined us but Jethro never left her side — and we believe he's the reason she made such a complete and remarkable recovery! These two have never spent a day apart.
