Bernies LOVES children and is a kind-hearted mellow, happy guy with no history of aggression. He knows basic commands, is house trained and excellent on a leash. He's used to a long walk every day. His DNA results are: Great Pyrenese, St Bernard, German Shepherd and a little Great Dane. Charlotte just turned 10 years old. I rescued her 7 years ago from a shelter where she was being treated for heart worms and kept in a crate for hours on end. For this reason, she will not use a crate. She needs a home with a yard and humans who are home most of the day. I work 12 hr shifts and she has lost all ability to be home alone during that period. She can dig out of the patio and climb over the gate. She even opened the slider. I used a dog walker but she refused to go back inside unless wearing a spike collar, bc she can back out of a harness. She got kicked out of doggy daycare because she hurt herself trying to escape. When I’m home, she’s well behaved and sweet. She likes to play, go on walks, and get pet. She is best with kids under supervision who understand boundaries and don’t try to push past her or mess with her face. She likes calm dogs but no cats. I am heartbroken to have to rehome her but I can’t create a better situation for her and it’s not fair to keep her.

My name is Billy. I am a 2 year old neutered male Great Pyrenees Mix. I am a very loving and affectionate dog. I would love to go on long walks or hikes. Billy came with 6 other dogs named Dorian, Newton, Tucson, Desiree, Groot, and Sade from a fellow rescuer. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sophie Sue Sophie is a 15 week Pyrenees/Anatolian pup . We saved Momma in Nuevo under a hay shelter. She had 7(babies) 4 boys and 3 girls. All puppies have had(4) sets of core vaccines, 3 dewormings, flea and tick prevention and microchips. Sophie was the runt of the litter and the smallest girl, she's a little spark plug, she doesn't take any heat from her brothers. She's her momma's twin. Sophie is a sweet girl, she's gonna probably be 80 pounds full grown. Sophie loves children and would prefer to lay at your feet . She is great inside, and loves her people. She’s happy to guard the yard, but also come inside for a much needed nap after her hard work. ❤️ she is working on leash training. She is ready for her new forever home.
