Suki is a gorgeous 5 yo Great Pyrenees who was abandoned in an orchard and rescued from a high kill Shelter in Kern County. Suki exemplifies all of the qualities of her breed. She is a true guardian who will protect her family and property with all of her being. She bonds closely with the people she loves and her love and loyalty know no bounds. She is smart, eager to please, affectionate, playful, dog friendly, great on leash....we could go on and on. Suki would do best on a farm or ranch with livestock and property to protect. Suki is spayed, UTD on vaccines and microchipped.

Story
Raya is a beautiful female Great Pyranese who was found running loose in Richmond, CA. Raya was very scared and timid when she first came to Jelly's and wouldn't leave her kennel or take treats from staff and volunteers. She has made alot of progress and now happily comes out of her kennel and enjoys going to the small play area where she chews on stuffies and munches on treats. Raya is a true example of her breed. She let's you know if a stranger walks nearby and is a great protector. Raya is needs extra time meeting new people or being in new environments, so would do best in a quiet, peaceful, predictable home with no other animals.

Story
Leo is a gorgeous 4 year old Great Pyrenees mix who was rescued from death row at the Contra Costa County Animal Shelter. He is a medium-energy, joyful, affectionate, and dog-friendly dog. He is potty and crate-trained, knows basic obedience (he loves to sit for treats!) and walks well on a leash (he is working on pulling) and is very eager to please. The perfect home for Leo would be a loving, conscientious owner or family with older kids. We do not recommend children under 12 in the home, as Leo is a big dog who can jump or pull on a leash when excited and is prone to resource-guarding his food. Leo would thrive in a home where he can go on a daily walk (or two) and get the love he deserves. Leo loves to go for car rides and likes to lounge around the house and be part of the pack. He is a flexible dog with a chill personality - he would do well in a busy urban OR rural setting. He can hike and walk a lot, or a little - he will mesh into your lifestyle. We've walked him in the hills around cows and turkeys and also on very busy urban streets and he just ambles along - happy to be out with you. If interested in meeting wonderful Leo, please complete an application at www.jellysplace.org. Leo is neutered, microchipped and UTD on vaccines. Leo is available for foster or adoption and qualified applicants will be contacted. Leo's adoption fee is 50% sponsored by a Jelly's Place volunteer.
