Story
We are looking to rehome our dog, a truly sweet and loyal companion who deserves the right environment to thrive. We adopted him from friends when he was about five months old, and he originally came from a ranch setting. He is now a year and two months old, full of energy, intelligence, and affection. He bonds closely with his people and has a gentle, loving nature that really shines once he feels comfortable. That said, he does not do well around children and would be happiest in a home without them. Given his background and natural instincts, we believe he would do best in a rural or spacious setting—ideally somewhere with land where he can stay active and have a job or purpose. He has so much potential and heart, and in the right home, he will make an incredibly devoted and rewarding companion.

Story
I found Koda on the side of the road being sold out of a truck on June 4, 2022. He was covered in ticks and fleas and had a stomach parasite. He was only 2 months old and there was no information or paperwork on his past or his parents. I took him to the vet and made sure he was healthy and had no issues. Koda grew up with my golden retriever and cat so he gets along very well with them. He has been around other dogs but doesn't get along well with them. Some days he is more stubborn than usual and refuses to go outside and he tends to have his moments where he likes to be alone. But he is a wonderful guard dog, but that means he does bark a lot. With meeting new people he is very timid, it takes some time for him to come around and get to know people. Koda has a big heart but is very stubborn, but with the right family and training I feel that Koda can be a great dog. Koda needs a very loving and patient family. Please message me for any questions or concerns.

The Tehachipi 9 is a litter that was an accident to a ranch owner in Tehachipi that decided he did not want the responsibility of the mom and a litter. We were asked to intervene and we did. We have all of the puppies and boy are they something else. There are 5 girls and 9 boys. The parents are both purebred Great Pyrenees. The puppies are split and are on two ranches with incredible fosters who know how to socialize and train. Mom and dad pictured. The were born 3/7/26 and will be available to take home May 4th. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.

Story
This awesome litter of puppies was surrendered to us when the owner allowed her unspayed female to get pregnant by the neighbors GP. So often these people have no interest in caring for the puppies while finding them appropriate homes. As a rescue, we get these calls a lot. We step in so they don't start just handing them out to anyone so they can rid themselves of the problem. They came to us flea infested and definitely needed some medical attention for their skin. They are now beautiful fluffy happy puppies. They were born 3/10/26 All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped.
