Beau is a sweet, gentle, and incredibly affectionate young pup who lights up every room—and sidewalk—he walks into. He absolutely loves people and will eagerly try to greet anyone he spots, even from across the street, always wearing his big, happy smile. With a medium energy level, Beau enjoys getting out and about and taking in the world around him. He’s very curious and friendly with other dogs, and while he may hesitate for a moment when play gets a little rambunctious, he warms up quickly and shows his soft, social nature. Beau is easy to handle on leash, but since he’s still young, he’s learning his manners and will benefit from continued leash training. He’s already making great progress with house training and has learned to ask to go outside. His crate training is improving too—he’s settling in more comfortably each day. At home, Beau is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly. He enjoys gently playing with his toys, exploring the backyard, and then curling up beside you for some quality snuggle time. He knows “sit” and is working on “down,” “stay,” and “come.” If you’re looking for a loving, eager-to-please companion who’s full of sweetness and joy, Beau is ready to become the heart of your home.

Brody is a little nervous with new people but once he gets to know you, he’ll be your most loyal companion. He is calm, playful, gentle with other dogs and loves to play catch with his trusted two-legged friends. He enjoys being by your side and will sit calmly and smile when he’s ready for affection and belly rubs. It might take some time to earn his trust… but the love he offers in return will be worth it. (No kids please, they scare him). House-trained, neutered, current on vaccines and ready for a home to call his own.

Meet Bucky! He’s a one-year-old, 72-pound mixed breed pup with a gentle soul and a resilient spirit. Bucky was found abandoned in a junkyard, unable to care for himself, born without one front paw and only a small nub for the other leg. Despite everything he’s been through, Bucky is sweet, loving, and incredibly strong. He’s now safe in a foster home and finally learning what it means to feel loved and protected. Bucky enjoys cozy beds, calm company, and the safety of a quiet, predictable routine. While he still has a long road ahead, Bucky continues to show progress and surprises us every day with his bravery. He’ll do best in a patient, low-traffic home that can provide him with comfort, care, and encouragement as he adjusts. With the help of the amazing team at Two Hands Four Paws, we are assessing what medical resources Bucky will need. This boy this will have a longer road to achieving more mobility, but with patience, love and modern medicine we're hoping to make major improvements to his quality of life! This INCREDIBLE pup was part of a litter of 5 that we rescued from Kern County Animal Services. They are just spectacular pups. These puppies have such a great temperament and r easy going. The breed are guardian dogs, so they are just a lover of all friendly animals. They recognize coyotes as a threat and will protect. Jonah will make a wonderful family dog. Can't go wrong here! All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Story

Duke is a very very sweet and super easy going boy. He can be a bit timid and shy, but he goes along with the program. Duke was held on a rural property in the middle of nowhere with a few other dogs. He was not exposed to much life outside of that place. Duke loves other dogs, and can be very playful. He walks well on a leash too. He is comfortable in a home environment and will be happy in a home (not apartment) and another larger dog to play with would be ideal. He also loves the company of kitties. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped.
