Beau is a sweet, gentle, and incredibly affectionate young pup who lights up every room—and sidewalk—he walks into. He absolutely loves people and will eagerly try to greet anyone he spots, even from across the street, always wearing his big, happy smile. With a medium energy level, Beau enjoys getting out and about and taking in the world around him. He’s very curious and friendly with other dogs, and while he may hesitate for a moment when play gets a little rambunctious, he warms up quickly and shows his soft, social nature. Beau is easy to handle on leash, but since he’s still young, he’s learning his manners and will benefit from continued leash training. He’s already making great progress with house training and has learned to ask to go outside. His crate training is improving too—he’s settling in more comfortably each day. At home, Beau is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly. He enjoys gently playing with his toys, exploring the backyard, and then curling up beside you for some quality snuggle time. He knows “sit” and is working on “down,” “stay,” and “come.” If you’re looking for a loving, eager-to-please companion who’s full of sweetness and joy, Beau is ready to become the heart of your home.

Story

I found Koda on the side of the road being sold out of a truck on June 4, 2022. He was covered in ticks and fleas and had a stomach parasite. He was only 2 months old and there was no information or paperwork on his past or his parents. I took him to the vet and made sure he was healthy and had no issues. Koda grew up with my golden retriever and cat so he gets along very well with them. He has been around other dogs but doesn't get along well with them. Some days he is more stubborn than usual and refuses to go outside and he tends to have his moments where he likes to be alone. But he is a wonderful guard dog, but that means he does bark a lot. With meeting new people he is very timid, it takes some time for him to come around and get to know people. Koda has a big heart but is very stubborn, but with the right family and training I feel that Koda can be a great dog. Koda needs a very loving and patient family. This INCREDIBLE pup was part of a litter of 5 that we rescued from Kern County Animal Services. They are just spectacular pups. These puppies have such a great temperament and r easy going. The breed are guardian dogs, so they are just a lover of all friendly animals. They recognize coyotes as a threat and will protect. Jonah will make a wonderful family dog. Can't go wrong here! All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Story

Duke is a very very sweet and super easy going boy. He can be a bit timid and shy, but he goes along with the program. Duke was held on a rural property in the middle of nowhere with a few other dogs. He was not exposed to much life outside of that place. Duke loves other dogs, and can be very playful. He walks well on a leash too. He is comfortable in a home environment and will be happy in a home (not apartment) and another larger dog to play with would be ideal. He also loves the company of kitties. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. This awesome gal was rescued from a high impound shelter in Kern County. She went to a foster home thru the shelter and the mans intent was to adopt. He then lost his job, and decided he could not commit. We scooped her up and she is doing well. Yuki is housebroken, playful and ready to be loved on. She will require continued socialization and exercise. She is on the smaller side weighing 68 pounds. She is about 1.5 years old. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. COURTESY POST: CONTACT 818-378-8995 to foster OR adopt. Brody is a shy 2-year-old, 95 lb. boy, who sadly was abandoned and left in boarding when a rescue group closed its doors. Brody is a little nervous with new people but once he gets to know you, he’ll be your most loyal companion. He is calm, playful, gentle with other dogs and loves to play catch with his trusted two-legged friends. He enjoys being by your side and will sit calmly and smile when he’s ready for affection and belly rubs. It might take some time to earn his trust… but the love he offers in return will be worth it. (No kids please, they scare him). House-trained, neutered, current on vaccines and ready for a home to call his own.

Mika is currently 1 year and 4 months old. She weighs about 100 lbs. She is house and apartment trained. She does very well with other dogs as she is constantly socialized at daycare. She is trained to use the bathroom and notify when she needs to use it. We are looking to rehome her to a new family that is able to give her more attention and a bigger space. She is very playful (loves toys), loves walks, loves to play with water, enjoys playing with other dogs, and loves her treats. She is a pretty well behaved dog. She listens to basic commands and has a moderate level of training. She is a bit protective and alert around strangers. We can provide more information to her new owner. Above all, we just want her to go to a loving home and to be adopted by someone who will take great care of her. Everyone who has been around Mika says she’s such a great dog. It is very hard for us to let her go.
